    Right, but the parent was discussing mandatory vaccination because you must get vaccinated to go to school. But since you don't have to go to mandatory vaccination school, you do have options.

    Problematic given that lawyers of differential quality have differential cost. So if I try to sue a big corporation, and they decide to run up the court costs into the millions, I'm screwed if I lose? I may as well not sue, no matter how legitimate my claim.

    Who pays that kind of salary to someone who isn't good enough to land another job? I'd like to go work there, because surely I could pull in 500k? I have recruiters badgering me three or four times a day to take interviews ... it is not hard to get a job right now if you are a decent developer.

    Yesterday there was room for one internet on the internet. Today, there is room for three and a half internets on the internet. That's a lot of internets, and could well be seen as a revolution. After all, the first internet was a revolution, what will three internets do for us?

    Reread your own post:
    "If you ask your dentist for your x-ray negatives they will not give them to you."

    I asked my dentist for my x-ray negatives, and they gave them to me. This contradicts what you said in your post to which I replied. I think this is fairly straightforwardly inferred from my statement that "I have xray negatives from multiple dentists."

    I doubt many of the readers of this sequence will feel like I lost this argument, but I suppose there's a fool born every minute.

    I have xray negatives from multiple dentists. Your claim simply isn't factual, it is more of an indication that you have a bad dentist. Go get a better dentist.

    I've contracted for multiple places with million dollar lawyers to review their contracts that used 'work for hire'. Those lawyers obviously have some belief that they will prevail if it comes down to a lawsuit. They could be wrong, but I doubt it.

    Why anyone would have bought into such a community in the first place escapes me. It was #1 on the list of dead to me properties when I consulted a real estate agent. Who doesn't think that an HOA is just an invitation to abuse, and why would you pay MORE to pay more for an HOA?

    I think the answer is that:

    #1: only an idiot relies on the MTBF statistic as their backup strategy, so speed matters more (and helps you perform your routine backups faster).

    #2: for energy efficiency, you don't buy a big spinning disk for your laptop, you use a solid state device.

    #3: wait, i thought you didn't want them to talk about performance? This format should indeed be better performing for video editing, however, since you asked.

    Not only is the jerk pool not as large as the victim pool, you can't even get the jerks to accept being the victims, so even if you had jerk world online, you'd find the jerks complaining about the unfairness of it. So no matter how large that pool is, unless you can find a pool of people who enjoy losing, you're not going to have a viable pvp game.
