I don't believe that he was quite past the fantasy stage yet, but the heart of the matter is just that; how do you define what constitutes past the fantasy stage?
I don't know, what part of your engine eats itself when your gasoline runs dry? When was the last time you had your blood changed (every three thousand miles!)? I mean really? Comparing pressured explosions to the human body? A hydrogen exchange is a little closer and it's still way off.
And you believe that? Millions of years of evolution, yet our bodies require the carbs we only learned to refine out of grain in the last ten thousand years? You are incorrect about the lack of vitamins and minerals in fats and proteins, but nonetheless adequate vegetable servings would easily make up for the lack of whatever is you think is only in grains.
This also assumes that there are reliable metrics applied to advertisements. As I understand it, the current practice is to throw money everywhere and "see what sticks."
I'm fine with people getting revenue for their ads. I just don't want to see them. All I want is a simple ad hiding extension, something that will suppress the viewing and hearing of the ad. Is that too much to ask for?

The "new version" has been in play since last year. Good luck trying to rally anyone to fight on the side of child pornographers.

Fats and Protein aren't bad for you. That's 90% of your bodies makeup, how could it be bad? What part of your body is sugar and carbs?

This would only be a problem if there was a possibility of me ever clicking or even looking at the ad. Since I never do, my habits would go unchanged.

I have a pair of those and it makes it tough to watch videos on my phone in landscape mode.
It's true! Mario told me so!
B&N is doing nothing wrong here.
They may not be doing something illegal, but make no bones about it; it IS wrong.
I've been so desensitized by the internet that I assumed panda poo was a username.
They can't steal atari2600.org just because they feel like it's theirs. Make them take it to arbitration, they have no case.
Did the dark ages start like this? A slow decline in critical thinking combined with a pooling of power within a minority?
I wonder if some in the government are pushing for these stringent measures because they think it will save the country.
No.
Many geocachers will be thinking twice when planting their treasure
Unfortunately no one will be thinking twice before re-enacting their own version of chicken little and calling the police for every little thing.
I had no idea Gamesforwindows.com was even a place...
What are the other side effects of LSD, besides that?
This is bunk because my city (Denver, CO) was skipped entirely.
I call bullshit. Ten times more expensive? Why not just fire them into the dirt a day before they "expire"?
That's an absurdly reductionist viewpoint.
I always register my accounts in my Boss's name. Apparently he is into some pretty weird stuff...
