Assets ????? - what assets. This is starting to become a really boring story. Maybe Darl can get a job flipping burgers and stop bothering the rest of us who are trying to create new technology!
Aren't you guys tired of living in a Police State and a constant state of war - when are Americans going to stand up and demand their rights back - I keep waiting,,,,
Well the problem would be solved if we all didn't eat meat - then there would be no need to give these drugs to the cattle in the first place. We could also refrain from cutting down huge sections of the rain forest to graze cattle on, thereby helping some of our other problems like global warming etc. (of course that may not really exist if we ask the right scientists - e.g. the ones on the whitehouse payroll).
I have to laugh that I get moderated down as a troll for my comment - the people who will really lose karma are those that kill animals to eat them. Oh well, should have expected an adverse response I guess. Soylent green anyone? (just JOKING...)
This is getting to be ridiculous. How much money are we supposed to spend to defend against any possible problem. The fear mongers would like us all to pay those billions of dollars to support this idea. I can't say I ever am afraid of being blown out of the sky when I get on a airplane. Sounds like a product of watching too much main stream media. Be afraid , be afraid always....
TextMate is easily worth paying for. The best programmer's editor I have ever used. I know how you feel about free software, but there are occasional exceptions. TextMate is one for sure.
I don't understand why you Americans are so agreeable when it comes to having your civil liberties squashed. Why don't you all speak up and remind your representative that you used to live in a free country and would like to once again. Enough of the government spin masters controlling everything.
Well, since the US is becoming less and less based on the study of science, it is merely a matter of time before it falls behind a lot of countries. Too bad, there are such great minds and instutions in that country - what a waste.
Pay for performance - a reasonable idea - then all these fat cat CEOs should probably get a salary of about 150k per year, so they are not so out of line with all the rest of the people at their companies that work just as hard (probably harder). What a warped system of greed we have.
Well I actually based my statement on my view and knowledge of politics around the world, not Slashdot.
Daily, I browse many sources of news, including the Globe and Mail (Canada), BBC (thats in the UK in case you don't know), CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, Fox, and sometimes I even check the Al Jazerra site. I figure that way I get to see the issues of the day from many perspectives.
If you are only getting your information from American Media sources, I'm afraid it is you that are suffering from Groupthink. They seen to miss a lot of important global stories. Check for yourself for a few days. Look at the news on the BBC, and then on the American Media outlets. It seems to me that its almost as if they get together to decide what information American citizens are exposed to (oh oh - more groupthink).
I also see that posted anonymously - guess I should not have wasted my time replying, but I thought your erronous thinking should be addressed. Your rights are important - don't let them disappear.
I'm not an American, so this is just my $0.02, but to those of you that are, your government seems to be taking away more and more of your civil liberties. America is supposed to be the land of the free, etc. etc. I think it is time that American government representatives were reminded of this - specially with elections coming up. They will do anything to remain in power. If you all tell them you are not going to put up with this kind of BS, then maybe they will stand up for you.
If everyone is silent, one day it will be too late. Speak up in unison to keep rights you have fought for over the past 200+ years. You know what they say - use em or lose em!
Brutal ...
Zune? What is a Zune?
And they will still have problems with sp10 when ii comes out.

And the indentation will not bother you for long and it also makes the code easy to read and enforces others to indent their code properly too.
Also, there are lots of batteries included :-)
Cheers
Why would anyone want some M$ software to manage their superior FOSS offerings. Time to give up and pack it in m$!
I think everyone needs to (re)read 1984. And stop letting the government remove all your civil liberties in the name of making YOU safe !

Shortcomings! What shortcomings?

Don't eat meat - problem solved :)
But you believe everything you read in the American media - lol
We can only hope he stays out :)

Just a thought here, but you would probably get a better response from moderators if you didn't log in as Anonymous Coward.
Thank goodness these guys didn't get into bed with M$ too. There is still hope. Won't be doing any business with Novell/Suse in the future though....
Get an iPod. You'll be happier!
Well, let us hope so. :)

Kinda like a Nintendo DS you mean :) Not sure if you were serious or being sarcastic since DS has all that lol :)
