I've used it a bit - It's really nice - Or rather promising! I didn't use SphereXP for very long, as it wasn't very mature when I used it, but I found Spaces, which was pretty good - It's not exactly the same, but they both make use of our spacial memory - With spaces I could have 30+ windows open and have no problems at all navigating them;) The only problem is that they are "images" of the window, and hence does not update once they are out of focus.
Plus, none of them support multiple screens, as far as I can remember - I use a dual screen setup right now, but I would still *love* to have it;)
I got interested in it after viewing demonstrations of Sun's Looking Glass (I think it's called) - now they updated in real time, but that was "built in"... Plus it was linux;)
In my amateur radio days, I was a very popular conversation - I had a small 5W radio, and I built my own di-polar antenna, I was in Nuuk (capital of Greenland), and I had conversations with southern Brazil, Japan and others - I talked to a lot of people in the UK, and they had trouble believing that I was in Greenland - They said that it sounded like I was in their back yard with a 50W radio;) They were all VERY happy to receive my QSL-card;) Oh, if anyone remember me, I was 45SR101;)
I can't seem to find a samsung source that says this? But it is very very nice, and about time, I think! Nowhere else do you buy products that are slightly defect (and still very expensive!)...
It sounds like you could use a blog tool, such as PHP-based wordpress, be sure to check out the CVS-version, they have a nearly-finished 1.3 in there, much better than the current stable 1.2.2 version! Also, writing small plugins for WP 1.3 is really easy!
That sounds GREAT! Seriously! Where can I download their proxy? I want to run one for myself!;) What? I can't have it? Why?:P
Thinking a bit about this, it should actually be trivial to make a plugin for Miranda-IM, or some other OS-product, hey even bitlbee could be extended (since that is designed to run on your server anyway)...
Not everyone speak English natively on slashdot, so those that don't know exactly what that means: minutes means a referendum of a meeting - So we're talking about a referendum of a 1995 meeting between the board of directors:)
I installed stand-alone versions of real alternative and quicktime alternative, and I thought that it wouldn't work, or just work on some media, but I was thoroughly surprised! I have yet to try a realmedia or quicktime file that it can't play (streams too).
What a great new way of distributing drugs!:D Just too bad if the bluetooth is hacked and someone takes it over;P In the video it looks suspiciously like it's hanging from a wire (by the motion it makes). But it looks like a neat little toy for the übergeek:)
Right now the page has been refreshed 9.623.442 times, and only 72 of those refreshes resultet in the 1337 number. 1 in 133659 got the right number, and it only ranges from 1-20000 (it was a different range for a while I think he wrote)...
I just refreshed a few times (they changed server - and apparently it can take the slashdot load) - and I got 1337! But after submitting your email, you get a 404 error. Great.
Once in awhile I use Alex King's Todo. But mostly because I haven't made anything better yet (I am doing it though)... Mine will be a little more complex (but easy to use).

The normal user linux distro will be bloated and/or have high requirements (has to be - people want it) - Those who doesn't want it, wouldn't choose Fedora - or if they do, they will be knowledgable enough to switch to another window manager. My laptop isn't the fastest in the world, but it's really snappy with Xfce 4:) The point is, the OS should "grow" with the machines. On linux you have different choices. I mean, I can run KDE and gnome apps with my Xfce setup and it's great and fast. One of my friends run blackbox, in fact he's so addicted to it that he runs some sort of blackbox add-on for windows too;)

Their excuse was that they didn't have an inkling as to user's usage ;-)

Love the third law! That's why I have a variation of it as my sig :)
Any technology distinguishable from magic, is insufficiently advanced!

Is that a reference to Donnie Darko?
Thanks man. Getting ~42 KB/s (a sign?) - way better than the 0.42 KB/s I got from the officials ;)
