    nope

    american soldiers are smarter than to fire at an enemy in an unprotected position. that's why our casualties are so much lower than everyone else's

    look at any photo or youtube video and the americans are always firing from cover. the enemy is almost always in the middle of a field or the street in the open firing from the hip and playing rambo.

    by your definition neither does call of duty

    read most accounts of war and firefights take hours compared to seconds on the consoles. you lay down covering fire and have maneuver elements. you call in air and artillery. you find good fighting positions and use cover to stay alive and move around. unlike cod where all you do is move in a straight line to play the level

    It's not for games anymore

    Hedge funds use nvidia branded servers with gpu's for trading. Lots of scientific uses as well for medicine, oil and gas exploration, etc. how do you think they know where to frack for natural gas or dig sideways for the hard to reach oil?

    look at the drug companies. most drugs these days are made by small biotech and start up drug companies. Pfizer and others do marketing, manufacture and anything else that takes a lot of money.

    same with tech. Flash IO licenses their products to HP and others who rebrand it, sell and support it.

    or better yet, find a buyer and sell your company. google is always buying startups and integrating their products. some years google buys dozens of small companies

    auto dealers where apple got the idea for self branded stores in the first place

    history of any new industry is lots of innovation, products and companies with a somewhat open manufacturing process being replaced by fewer companies and products and integrated processes from design to manufacturing to retail

    lots of other self branded stores through the decades

    I have 2 kids and my first one was always sick until a year ago. He was on antibiotic at least once a month

    After a while I picked up on a few things

    There is a simple 5 point check to see if the llllness is bacterial or viral
    Once he diagnoses the doctor does not choose the drug. The physicians desk reference aka pdr tells the doctor what to prescribe
    The dosage is determined by the drug companies depending on the child's weight

    The pdr will have every known disease, illness, condition and the drugs or procedure required to treat it

    It's a watch, biking computer, biometric device, you use it while working out, etc

    It's for people who do more than sit in front of computer screens all day and night

    most times its because the people voted in all kinds of insane socialist laws and consumer protections and then complain about the extra costs

    when i lived in italy everyone wanted the socialist benefits. and yet most businesses had the cash register open all the time so they could conduct some business in cash and off the books. same thing in the socialist paradise of greece

    we run all HP in our shop, but the rule is that we only buy HP branded cards for the servers. HP branded RAM, RAID, HBA's, hard drives, etc

    might cost more but all the firmware is tested to work TOGETHER. we have used Emulex HBA's before but HP also uses them and the HP ones aren't any different than vanilla Emulex ones so its not a big deal. but in some cases you want the branded part.

    sure you might save some money, but in the end you're creating too much useless monkey work for yourself. like troubleshooting firmware bricking issues. worthless knowledge

    Last earnings announcement the gross margins fell which is a precursor to a falling stock price a lot of times

    Revenue and earnings went up but falling gross margins is a bad long term thing

    the models are all the same, the 3G networks around the world are all slightly different

    probably a bug in how vodaphone does something on their network and some app using location services

    in the NYC area we have had a bunch of food delivery startup over the last 15 years

    in the dot bomb era we had webvan. you order food online and they deliver. they bombed.
    peapod is owned by a few B&M food stores and delivers
    Fresh Direct is the new all online food store in the NYC area. they even partner with nice buildings here in NYC to offer special holding rooms for food and to have the doorman sign for it. they have had subscription food delivery for a long time.

    Fresh Direct is a little more expensive than B&M stores, but for busy people its a huge timesaver
