    Surprisingly, this is quite an important statement - About 10% of white males are red-green colourblind, with slightly lower percentages in other ethnic groups (and much lower occurances in females.)

    So please, give us a break, and stay away from red/green colour schemes as you might be automatically losing 10% of potential viewers before you start.

    I was thinking about this this very morning, about how my computer should know that I am trying to save a file with a given extension or content and default to a certain directory.

    Of course, the annoyance would start when you change your way of doing something, or the computer pre-empts an action which you don't intend to do - You'd have to spend time fixing such problems and wait while the computer re-trains itself.

    Sure enough, the article doesn't mention these problems, and how they would be avoided or overcome.

    Just because Microsoft bought VPC, we should boycott it? Come on people, it's not as though Connectix offered it for free, or with the source. Bochs just doesn't match up to VPC for speed or stability. Just the best tool for the job. In this case, there is no competition.

    Because the Berkley'd code can be used in other commercial software with just a little copyright message, whilst GPL'd code can be used in other commercial software, but then requires the source code of that software to be released.
