When you have huge global monopolistic organizations such as Intel and Microsoft, which employ tens of thousands of people, you can afford to send out dozens or hundreds of them to run interference against OLPC at all levels over the world. Sooner or later they will wear OLPC down to nothing and thus continue their [evil] domination. If Google was worth more than a wet fart, they would get behind OLPC in one way or another.
There are more than a handful of freely available CDs available that can do this - reset the Administrator password, etc. As long as you can boot the system with the CD (or USB key). Use your Google Powers, Padawan.
I'd rather go camp in the desert or hike bits of the Grand Canyon than read about some 'tard wasting his money on the latest shiny thing from Apple or some other Evil Mega Corp.
