    There is no "before" moment to the beginning of the universe. Time started at that moment.

    Although this is the answer is more or less what a physicist would probably say to you it's also an answer given by Saint Augustine. You do not only fail in science but also in basic knowledge of theology.

    That's the point I think. If it could keep up with Earth's rotation it could be kept under constant sunlight (or, at least, under an extended period of sunlight) roughly like a sun-synchronous orbit.

    If a sensor is K units of mass heavy, getting 10 K/10 heavy vehicles is not useful.

    And, besides, you're probabily adding up in volume with more units (less density) and launching things to space is also about volume, not only mass.

    There's only so much you can get from limited space (ie, can't miniaturize sensors any further) and power supply (bigger -> more power);

    Not a native speaker, but from alt.usage.english FAQ:

    Not all Latin words ending in "-us" had plurals in "-i". "Apparatus", "cantus", "coitus", "hiatus", "impetus", "Jesus", "nexus", "plexus", "prospectus", and "status" were 4th declension in Latin, and had plurals in "-us" with a long "u". "Corpus", "genus", and "opus" were 3rd declension, with plurals "corpora", "genera", and "opera". "Virus" is not attested in the plural in Latin, and is of a rare form (2nd declension neuter in -us) that makes it debatable what the Latin plural would have been; the only plural in English is "viruses". "Omnibus" and "rebus" were not nominative nouns in Latin. "Ignoramus" was not a noun in Latin.

    Actually, you're wrong. Not all from the Top100 clusters are running Linux.

    There's at least one running Windows. Taking HPC as a whole, there's also AIX, Super-UX, OpenSolaris (reference: http://www.top500.org/stats/list/34/os).
