SO if its 2000 times as big as our galaxy and we are just NOW being able to see it. Its probably REALLY REALLY far away.. I would guess! :)

Another note our cluster of galaxies called the Virgo cluster which containes most of the visible galaxies such as Andromeda is 100 million light years across.

Some student loans actually can and will investigate how your student loan money was spent.

Exactly, like most people I can only watch a movie once or a few times at most (with some exceptions) a movie that has some game choice elements could be entertaining (though I've never seen it done well), but it would still suffer the same fate as other movie, you can only watch it so many times. Gameplay is a completly different beast, you don't get bored of good gameplay, this is why simple games like tetris is still popular, but any specific implementation of it, especially the ones with storylines, quickly fade into history.

Well we understand general relativity which we can model on a computer. We also have a pretty good grasp of particle physics which we can also model with a much bigger computer. Now from my understanding these two theories create different results in things like blackhole simulations. It would be interesting to simulate the two and eventually someday we may observe this actually happening and find out which simulation was more correct.

Nope, there is currently two models for the "cleaned" up movie going on. The first model is a special DVD player where you play the regular DVD along with software that you purchase for each DVD that does the editing on the fly. These have gone to court and were found to be legal. The other was a system where they were editing and selling an actual DVD with the edits predone that would work on any DVD player. This is obviously a nogo, editing someones work and reselling it is a nono.

There have been mentions there will be player voting as well as moderator filtering. Essentially any new creation is initially measured automatically be the computer on pure performance measure. After that it is still rarely seen by the average person. It then gets votes from people and becomes common with the increase in votes. There will be people who work for Spore who will be involved with filtering, but they can't filter everything so mainly it will be up to the users. You may see parental guards.

    1) Only moderator approved items

Well it may be that way. I know in the early stages you see creatures that could easily beat you. But it seems as though they mainly leave you alone though you have to runaway sometimes. I think the point is that in the space game you will not have a more powerful enemy suddenly declare war on you or nuke your planet. Though theoretically that could happen if you decide to attack their planet. Its simply a good idea gameplay wise not to have to deal with computer controlled bullies. The game would quickly get frustrating if they existed.

But serious to answer your question the online portion is not true multiplayer. Your creatures and buildings characteristics INCLUDING your playing style will be uploaded to a server in which other players can download from (purposfully for some things like architecture that you want in your city or automatically like other competing races). The computer will then play these races against you. From what I understand these competing races will be placed based upon your current level meaning you will never face an enemy that completely outmatches you and can wipe you out with a flick.
