    Amen Brother. ANY politician with significant corporate/establishment/MSM support needs to be ignored if we are to stand any chance of reversing this steady spiral into total fascism. Unfortunately, they've gotten so good at pushing the populaces fear/prejudice buttons and the majority of citizens are so prone to acting solely on fears/prejudices that I'm quite sure it's game over already.
    Excuse me now, I've got to get back to work on my cave up in the hills.....

    Could this be an effective path to "teaching" muscle memory quickly with an experienced subject sharing to an inexperienced one? Wanna play guitar? Let's hook up and I'll get you through the awkwardness of some basic chord changes quickly........
    If the impulses for an action came from external source instead of a persons own brain would there be a "memory" effect? How far up or down the neural pathway would it have to trigger the action for "memory" of any sort? If the subject is experiencing the action wouldn't that add some "memory" reinforcement?

    I'll add that most all of my friends. co-workers, family etc. engage in some sort of criminal activity or other on a regular basis.Hard to avoid it these days if you value liberty much at all. I tell everyone they'll regret ever saying anything bad about the police when they're trapped in a burning vehicle or being sucked into a sinkhole as per the recent event in FL. That being said, most everyone I know dreads interaction with law enforcement... it generally results in losing more than you can afford over something stupid($135 seat belt ticket for example).

    My retired mother. Watches nothing else all day and votes religiously. Spending time with her has become an ordeal as all conversation quickly spirals to "them" liberals and minotities being responsible for all troubles. I'm not waiting to see the likes of Murdoch brought to justice, I'm waiting to see him at the gates of hell.

    My first thought on the subject, "information >entertainment media", recurred to me in your last paragraph. Perhaps "information" needs separation from "media". That should be easy................ ;)
    I'd prefer that libraries just re-purpose all resources currently providing non-written "entertainment" to "information" myself. I am a fledgling old fart but it just depresses me to think of what could be.............

    I had a conversation with the head of the "e-nc" initiative several years back when I was considering a wireless ISP start-up. He told me they had done the research on 3 prior applicants by contacting the local telcos/cable to confirm no planned roll-outs of high speed services. As soon as the start-ups got off the ground Sprint(now Embarq) deployed DSL and caused 2 of them to fold.
    Dirty dealing by old plantation $ is still amazingly well entrenched in this region.......

    I contacted the offices of the E-NC initiative here in NC some 7-8 years ago concerning getting help starting an ISP due to no high speed availability in our rural area. The head of E-NC at the time told me they had funded 3 wifi start-ups after checking with the local telephone and cable providers to be sure there were no rollout plans in the works. As soon as E-NC released the funds Sprint(now Embarq in most areas) rolled out DSL to undercut 2 of the markets forcing the start-ups to fold.
    Private industry must compete with a public option in all communal need services or these monopolistic abuses will remain the norm.
    I'm tired of my country and the choices of my countrymen.
