Unfortunatly, a lot of people doesn't do any difference between notepad and ultra-edit. As long as you can edit a text... It is the same with all tools. For this, as long as you can edit your comments and easily change your skin to personalize it a little bit, they don't want more. It could be funny to see my wife trying to change an html file to set the layout of her blog... Not everybody need the full set of capability Ultra-edit have some people have enough difficulties just using notepad. For each person using blogger.com and editing his own template there will be thousand people happy using MSN spaces. Limited for you? Perhaps. Limited for a lot of people? Certainly not.

If I miss my monthly fsck / hardware check from time to time it is not critical and the system continue to work properly and in the baddest case with a little less performance. Compared to a system where you miss 1 reboot and all your business is down the drain... My choice is already done between thoses 2 choices... I take the non reboot option.
Having a behind the scene (back-office) system who need reboot from time to time is asking to a disaster. All back office systems need to work properly and transparently. The only thing I can accept from a back-office system is to work with some kind of degradation, but I can't accept that he put all the system on his knees.
And just for a note: Rebooting a system put some stress on his hardware causing it to have a reduced life.

Just my 2 cent, but in most selling point it is prohibed to use camera to shot product and product prices. Shooting the EAN code could be interpreted as shooting the product.

My Yahoo email address is known by everyone in my family, some companys, some institutions, my school, old schoolmates plus a buch of mailling lists (and some spammers:/). It is near to impossible for me to contact them all to send them my new email address in a timely fashion whithout the risk that some of them loose my new address and fall back on the old one...

Exactly. I hate the elitest attitude toward music so many people have. Even though YOU may not like the latest pop star, there are obviously millions of people who do, otherwise they wouldn't be popular.
Some people just don't seem to grasp that.
Just one experiment I have done:
as a fact: I love Jean Michel Jarre music especially "Electromagnetic fields", "Oxygene".
Experiment: Listen for the first time "Revolution" from him.
Result: On the first time I have heard it I have hated it. To the point to say "how can he make this type of shit"... On the 10th earing the album depleased me a little less. On the 20th earing I started to like it. And now this album is on my MP3 tracks list...
From this experiment. I can conclude that if I hear one music enought time I finish to like it. Could I generalize this to the population who could not escape the latest Britney spear album rehashed every 10 min on all the radio stations/TV stations, on the streets and the mall center ?
Doesn't work... There is a certain lag between the moment you press the key and when the interrupt will be treated by the processor and when the sound will be generated...
For example say I had 20 in my back account, nobody would spend 100 in time or money to get to it.
That why they actually use card reader, camera and wireless communication on ATM to duplicate your credit card and get your code. Say to me that you can do it with less than 200$. See it for yourself.
So, each key on a membrane keyboard makes a unique sound? I HOPE they try to patent this technology... that is just SO obvious... but is it practical in application?
Hum wireless keyboard without battery ? Juste enhance the sound made by the keys to obtain 100% accurency in a middly sounded environment... That is a valuable application of the patent. "Ecological friendly wireless keyboard"...
