In the proposal, all forms of personal/private copying of copyrighted will be legalized, including P2P. Also, no further fees on recordable media (such as CD-R and DVD-R) will be introduced.

There's no conflict of interest; if the CEOs see one division loosing big money on some HW invention they will of course kill it. Why wouldn't they?
Not that it's unbelivable funny, but it's insightful as hell. Most people surf the web every day (or as often as they use the computer) but have NO IDEA what a web browser is, why they should keep it up-to-date or how they could change from one to another.
