You need to arrange them in a circle. Auditor A audits Auditor B, which audits Auditor C, which in turn audits Auditor A. Together, using a distributed auditing algorithm, the three systems audit the original system which needs those audits.
Those aren't the "major" shortcomings, and frankly, those aren't shortcomings at all. The CPU is about as fast as you'd expect at that little power consumption, and there is plenty of RAM. No idea what you're trying to do with yours, running Windows on it?
In case you case, the two major shortcomings are power related (try to hotplug a wifi dongle, say) and the non-dedicated ethernet.
Everyone who ever rode a motorcycle knows very well they those things already self-balance to an impressive degree. Even if you wanted, you couldn't make one simply fall over (short of giving the handlebar a huge jerk)
I think you misunderstand what kind of statements people tend to get flamed for. This is pretty spot on, windows does have the better GUI, after all, a huge amount of money has been thrown at it.
That being said, i'd still not use it because a nice GUI is useless when the rest is crap.
"four giant nuclear plants?" Dammit, that's extremely useless a unit of measurement. Literally everyone should know by now that the standard SI unit for power consumption is medium-sized town. So, how many medium sized town do those cable boxes consume in total?
I for one welcome all but our new Fastpass &,dash; static scheduling overlords.
Yes. Except that he isn't a troll, and his information is spot on.

It's actually a limitation of our brain. We can manage words up to reasonable length,
Your brain. Not our brain. Now get off my lawn, I've got the Rindfleischetikettierungsueberwachungsaufgabenuebertragungsgesetz to read.
Best wishes from Germany
what stops you from writing it? (except perhaps the fact that it seems like a dumb idea resulting in linux-KMS-framebuffer-console-like performance)
What.

Nope.
Suppose a car of m=1000kg mass.
Kinetic Energy E_kin = m/2 * v^2
E_kin(standing car): 0 J
E_kin(20mph ~= 9 m/s): 40.5 kJ
E_kin(80mph ~= 36 m/s): 648 kJ
E_kin(100mph ~= 45 m/s): ~1 MJ
Difference between the first two: 40.5 kJ
Difference between the latter two: ~352 kJ
I take the 20mph one, thanks..
Redundancy.
That omni drive seems pretty legit, not sure why it is in TFA's list

It's out of question that it will sometimes fuck up. It's desirable as long as it does not fuck up as much as humans do.

I trust the Internet as a transmission medium -- so long as I'm using solid encryption.
So you do not trust the Internet as a transmission medium.
It's got a wireless link to Google Glass, you insensitive clod
Cheats are useful both for developers and testers. You're thinking easter-eggs
...and here we have a prime example of the very kind of people you bitch about. You should be taken off the streets.

I bet somewhere is an *actual* hilariously rich nigerian princess sending legitimate emails out of the good of her heart. Sucks to be her.
