It's a free download but you have to pay for it? Doesn't sound too free to me. Reminds me of what we did to sell lemonade when I was a kid: "Free Lemonade, only 25 Cents!".:-)
You can actually use it on CRT displays too, and it just looks like normal AA. Here's how it works. (XFree can do this too, set a resource to do it instead of normal AA)
But cheaper. You don't have to throw out all your hardware to go from Win32 to Linux. You'r right though, Windows to Mac is much less dramatic for the lusers.
Grades don't really matter. Do you think that when you're 40 somebody's going to refuse you a programming job because you got a C in English? Do you think that when you die St. Peter's going to pull out your transcript and say "Hmm... looks like you failed English 284... and your SAT scores? 800 and 750? STRAIGHT TO HELL WITH YOU!!". No. Your grades don't affect your life. What you do with your life affects it. (BTW, I know someone who got straight A's, a 36 ACT, 1600 SAT and got refused from Harvard!)
I have to admit, KDE is getting quite nice these days! Have you seen the Liquid theme? It's AWESOME! Translucent menus, neat buttons and stuff. I'm running it on my old iMac Rev. B and it's FAST! I was pleasently surprised anyway.
It's an XITEL MD Port DG-2 and works great with Linux (/dev/dsp1). As for other bus/PS2 mouse, i have an early iMac, so that's out. I assume it's a software issue because it works fine on a friend's machine (but it's UHCI not OHCI, so I dunno)
heh, you think I check things before I complain? This is slashdot, man.

MacOS won't run too well on the hardware that runs Windows. But Linux will (this from a Linux/PPC user ;)
If you take the absolute value of your prediction, then you're right ;)
Look at mosfet's Liquid theme. It's really good looking and really fast! Even on my old machine :-)
You must be stupid, because I did indeed mention that. Why oh why am I dealing with braindead AC's?
Didn't I just say that?
Heh, I'm a little late, aren't I. Oh well.
Someone wrote a program called vigor that does have a paperclip. Screenshots here. Hillarious sutff, especially for an emacs user *grin*
If I were a company, I'd pay a lot of money to make my ad the "BSOD". It'd probably be on the screen more than most TV comercials :)

If you look at "the bright side" of a CD for too long, your eyes might be burned by the ambient light.
he got a +5 Funny, and you got a hemeroid, so I think he wins ;)
Good point. If they could find it, it wouldn't be good. Kinda like sugarless sugar cookies ;)
He asked you first ;) Seriously though, you're innocent until proven guilty. At least give M$ the benifet of the doubt.
:P
Moderators: I use linux so don't mod me down for being resonable regarding microsoft. I don't even own an x86 machine

And Windows has thousands more than that.
lmao, I had to laugh at your sig after reading this. You're the true python programmer, aren't ya :)
No Flash for Linux/PPC though. Only a crap open-source version :(

Who has the nukes? Us? Ohhhh.....
See, good work, moderator. Fuck you.
