Polish. It's just lovely. I'll grant you there hasn't been much move toward lots of shiny features, but to be honest that's the reason I prefer Gnome. It does what I need simply and well.
I suppose there's no real need for that sort of continuity, as long as the continuity for the main characters broadly fits together, and it gives them more room for humour without being penned in by what they did before.
in a rare (*snigger*) continuity error there were two explanations for global warming not destroying the planet in Futurama. The other being that they drop a huge ice cube in the ocean once a year./pedantic obsessive fan
OpenLaszlo isn't really a programming language, it's an interface description language in the same vein as XUL, XAML, and more to the point Flex from Macromedia (which it's very similar to but open source).
It allows you to design interfaces and hook them up to your server side code quite simply (it can simply read and write XML). Layout is XML, logic is Javascript.
er.. maybe it's a while since you've used it? The mplayer plugin I have can do all those things.. It's a bit flakey with some WMV files admittedly, but even most of those are fine.
Personally I installed the mplayer firefox plugin and the windows codecs with a few clicks in my package manager and the ad plays fine.
The difference is that in the process I didn't end up with that horrible Quicktime player, Windows Media Player and Realplayer installed on my system and popping up alert baloons from my system tray...
1. 'We' is not a noun. 2. You would never play with 'we' 3. 'We' predates 'wee'. 4. 'Wii' has the added association with 'wee' of having a double plural after a single consonant, so there is a visual similarity as well.
Germans will be perfectly capable of pronouncing it, they just wouldn't assume it was pronounced that way if shown the word without hearing the intended pronounciation.
Do you think Germans are actually physically incapable of prnouncing a w the same way we do?

good lord, so it is! (shot of the foot of fry's chair as it over-balances)
Yeah that was kinda what I was getting at.

"glowbal wopple?"
I did quite clearly say it was intentionally ignorant! :)
Er.. Open Source is generally based on open standards. It also tends to implement them without proprietary patented extensions.
Where exactly is OSS not being inter-operable?
Oops! Yes quite right. or just 'Yankee English'!
(Yes that was intentionally ignorant)
If not for the Russians you might be too,
No sorry, the English spoken in England is called 'English'. It is the language of the English.
Americans speak an American version of English, hence 'American English'. And so on.
funny guy
Why the hell has this been modded off-topic?
Actually it's true. A fresh Linux install has far better hardware support than a fresh XP install. 99% of drivers for Linux come with the kernel.

Completely agree, ZimbraTK is just lovely. And now it's been included in an Apache AJAX incubator project and teaming up with Eclipse.. oh my... :)
Is anyone else bored of reading criticisms of Zonk with every single post?

Eh? There's already a Flash player for linux, it's just that it's stuck at version 7 at the moment..
Yes, but:
1. 'We' is not a noun.
2. You would never play with 'we'
3. 'We' predates 'wee'.
4. 'Wii' has the added association with 'wee' of having a double plural after a single consonant, so there is a visual similarity as well.
Good job at failing to read the GP post..

at least it wasn't pronounced the same way as a word for piss...
You know 'wee' (pronounced the same as we and wii) is a common children's word for piss right?
By that logic 10,000 BPM tone-encoded-ASCII would be of far greater value than Mozart.
Hey I'm a coder and I love cute overload, sue me :p
Shit djupedal, at least try to read the story.
This has nothing to do with the judges decision, this is about US diplomats not judges.
