    1. IBM computers booted ROM BASIC, Tandys didn't. I did, however, have a Tandy 1000HX that would boot MS-DOS 2.11 with no disk in the drive.

    2. Phoenix made the BIOS for Tandy computers. Go fig.

    It's not a free market when you can't walk with your feet. Around here there is ONE electric company, ONE natural gas company, ONE phone company, ONE cable company. You don't have choice.

    GPL is free, but BSD is freer. And while I do use GPL (v2, I'll prolly never use v3 specifically on anything), I prefer to use BSD, and more often than not, I release under the 3-clause BSD license.
