You could use a dose of pragmatism. Telling 90% of your potential customers that their only choice is to switch to Firefox might work for your personal blog with 20 visitors a day, but that kind of attitude doesn't fly if you actually have regular, paying customers visiting your site.
I (erroneously) expected people to at least visit the site and see for themselves why this is an interesting app, instead of picking up on buzzwords.
What makes you think that some (most?) people didn't already know about Flock? I've looked beyond the 36px type and the talk about expensive office chairs and it still didn't impress me.
Flock was (and is) mostly hype and silly buzzwords. The only good thing that came put of this was the Flock Sucks blog that lambasted Flock and the hype surrounding it. Too bad it's gone now, because it was really funny.
Anyone looking for blog features in Firefox should take a look at the Performancing extension instead.
Why aren't you using Georgia or one of the new Vista fonts (if you have access to those)? It seems such a waste to use a typeface that isn't designed for viewing on a screen.
Q: Will VMware Server still be free when it is generally available? A: Yes, VMware Server will be a free product. There will not be any charge for licenses to VMware Server when it becomes generally available.
You should do standup. You're the next Carrot Top!
Anyway, you provided one example of a potentially great game gone wrong, and I posted two counter-examples of two potentially great games that actually did turn out to be great.
If you're trying to say that potentially great games generally tend to disappoint, I don't really see how it applies here. I count more great Star Wars games than bad ones. Sure, there may have been some so-so mediocre ones, but the MMORPG is the only really bad one in my opinion.

No, of course not. Why would it mean that?

You probably should've checked the actual terms before posting this FUD, you know.
From http://www.vmware.com/products/server/faqs.html:

That's cool. Do you have any other links to sites that don't contain the article you're talking about?
You've gone to Digg and blogs looking for quality? Hah.
Actually, I wasn't joking. I hadn't looked at Taco's journal and had missed the name of the typeface.
Thanks.

What's this Coliseo thing you speak of? Google is only giving me Spanish hits on the Colosseum.
> Past games != Future games
Good thing that you didn't bring up Star Wars Galaxies to support your claim then... Oh wait, you did.
Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 were both great Star Wars games. Theory shot down.
Anyone remember Sierra's EcoQuest? It taught me that algaes are perfect for this thing and that was in 1991!

Good thing you didn't have any points then because that joke went over your head.

Steve Jobs thinks Objective C is Perfect?
You support the show by guiding people to a torrent? Wow, what a great fan you are!
I think that's a cookie problem. I got that error a few times and letting cookies in made it work. Well-done tutorial.
This basically amounts to warez, right?
Well, sort of. I'm not sure, but I believe that it works because they use MIME sniffing to determine what type of data IE is dealing with.

Here are a few links on the subject. Notice all the SP2 talk.

A fully patched IE6 under XP SP2 doesn't go by the extension anymore, FYI.
Slack is hardly what you'd call a major desktop.
Wow, you're a great and awesome parent!
> This also explains partly why Alpah Centauri was so much more fun and imaginative than Civ III.
Sid didn't design Civ3 either.
Will there ever be another Colonization? (Please say yes.)
