    You can, and have been able to for quite some time AFAIK. Under the server settings for the account in question, click the "Advanced" button and choose your SMTP server. Of course you need to have created the SMTP server at the SMTP server creation screen first.

    This isn't a trick question on your high school physics quiz. Just because the term deceleration is not preferred because it is ambiguous does not mean that it doesn't exist. Maybe it's *acceleration* that doesn't exist!

    The Dell Inspiron you quote is 6.8lbs -- roughly 2.5 times the size of the Lindows PC. I'd say that's a significant difference, wouldn't you?

    If you read ALL the way to the end of the article you'll note that 5 of the 6 bugs are already fixed in 1.0.1 which has been out for a couple months now. I believe the sixth is already fixed in the 1.2 nightlies.

    Sorry, but you're just wrong. You are obligated to pay for the sales tax (usually when you file your income tax at the end of the year). In addition, if the company has even the smallest presence in the customer's state, they are obligated to collect that sales tax on behalf of the state.

    The ex-CEO of Tyco is going to go to jail for sales tax evasion using the mechanisms you describe. Care to join him?

    As a Sybase employee, I can tell you that Sybase most definitely has not open sourced their ASE database engine. Not sure where you got that from.

    I just don't buy that. You don't really see Ford Escorts eating into 18-wheeler sales. They both have their uses, but they're not the same or even competing. Granted, lots of places that use Oracle could probably get by with Interbase just fine because they are running a single server (or small cluster now that Interbase has replication), but Interbase really won't scale as far as the "18-wheeler" database engines, at this point.

    Note that I've been using Interbase for the past 4-5 years and have always loved it. Note also that I don't use it any more because I work for Sybase, which has it's own Interbase-like database.
