  1. Re:Not Very Bright on Interview With Leader of Sweden's Pirate Party · · Score: 4, Informative

So, obviosly, you didn't read the article.

Piratpartiet proposes a five (5) year exclusive commercial copyright. That is more than enough time for most projects to reach a sound profit. And, as most people reading this now are aware, the non-profit sharing of music and other copyrighted materials tends to make the material sell more, not less. Just like having a song played on the radio.

  2. RSAF? on Swedish Flight Simulator Adds G Forces · · Score: 1

That is correct. However, the point of the light sensor is not to know day from night, but to know if the player is in the sunligth or not. Vampires die in the sunlight, and the game is about vampires.

  9. Is the democracy in the US a true democracy? on Ask the 'Geek Candidate' for California Governor · · Score: 1

As I see it, the US representatives do not represent the people that voted for them, but the companies and individuals who made it possible for them to be voted on (by giving money to their campaign). What is your opinion, is the US really the most democratic country in the world, as many americans want to believe?

It's a reference to Swedish minister Bjorn Rosengren on a business trip to Norway 1999-09-23 having said (roughly translated) "Norway really is the last Soviet state".

And no, Norway has never been part of the Soviet Union.

and not some ultra-capitalist western cowboy-regime driven company who has come up with the vaccine. Thank's to the last part of Soviet, this vaccine may come to use even for the ones who need it the most (poor African and Asian countries) and not only the people who can afford it.

I can think of many ways to prevent theft such as this. Put your phone on top of the monitor, you should see if someone is trying to take it from there. Or the cafes could have small drawers at the table for you to put your things in. No need for a lock, just put the drawer straight under the monitor, so you'd have to back away a bit from the screen to be able to open it.
