I live right next to Dell in Round Rock and saw the plane this afternoon. It gave me a chuckle. I mean seriously...renting a damn plane with a banner?!
"I do not think it is anywhere near the proffesional or creative photography level yet."
Tell that to all the professional photographers out there who have switched to digital. For example, Sports Illustrated staff photographers are almost all shooting with the Canon EOS 1D now (a few are using the Nikon D1X).
I just built a new box with a Gigabyte board w/ the KT333 chipset from VIA (runs an Athlon XP). It has 8 (eight) USB ports! 4 are USB classic =) and 4 are USB 2.0.
I don't have any USB 2.0 devices to test out the speed difference though! I just ordered a digital camera today that has a firewire port, so hopefully it will play nice with the IEEE1394 port on my Creative Audigy soundcard. We'll see...
I personally like Firewire (and I use Macs too) and hope they keep it for the next version, or go with Firewire2.
We used one of the old G3 CRT iMacs as our webserver for over a year. I agree that the heat build-up had me a little nervous also, but we never had any problems.
Nope. I live right next to Dell's Round Rock campus and this (http://www.justanotherpodcast.net/Files/Sunx86Fly oversmall.jpg) is exactly what was flying over around 2 PM.

Agreed. CS and DoD are really the only things keeping me on a PC at home. I use Macs for work.
Actually you've got it backwards (especially if you are using photography as your basis of knowledge).
The creator owns the copyright UNLESS they sign something specifically relinquishing it.
Try www.editorialphotographers.com if you're looking for a website with real insight into photography related copyright matters.
I'm now seeding...seems to be holding up great.
I guess they didn't get out quick enough, because that is ALL that anyone knows them for.
lpp, you've explained it perfectly.

"Canon's digital SLRs don't use CCDs, they use CMOS."
Not quite true. Most use CMOS chips but their flagship EOS 1D uses a CCD.
Actually, Justin IS in the credits for Winamp3.
He is listed under "Additional programming" which is the third set of credits.
I do have the Safari update showing for me on 10.2.3 Server, but I don't have the 10.2.4 Server update yet.
FYI: In the past 10.2.* client and 10.2.* Server have shown up at the exact same time.
Alright...this one is making me nuts. I can't figure it out. (I found the page though...)
King of the Hill is hilarious. I love that show! Fits in nicely with Simpsons and Futurama.
That is fucking hilarious! Good thing I wasn't eating when I saw that...
I always figured Milton was just a little "off" and deceided on his own that they must be married. Kinda like little kids do...
Of course you have to login to Classic to run the updates.
There's also a firmware upgrade (4.2.9) for my PowerBook available

Read closer. ARD will control OS 9 computers also....
What do y'all think about this? Looks pretty cool to me (but what do I know?). Anybody know where to pick one up?
Holy shit! I got the first post!
