Firebird comes with google already bookmarked. Try "google [search term(s)]" in the addressbar. (Or was it "gg"? I use gg as the keyword for google, but I can't remember if that was the default.)
I assume we're talking about Mozilla Firebird and not one of the other Firebirds out there.
Ok, I can sort of understand this. But "pa1m0ne"? Come on? Are they serious? That logo looks real cheap.
And why keeping the Palm-part, if that is the reason? People will still say "my Palm" or "Palm Pilot"
Another "new" logo I don't like is Pioneer's. The old one with the tuning fork in the Ohm-sign looked real good and told something about their products. (at least their sound related products. Amps and stuff. I don't really know what else they do) Their "new" logo looks like some ice cream company or something.
The name/logo is an very important thing. But I'm sure someone has calculated that changing it is profitable.
Are you questioning MY sense of humor? Are you? Are you??!!? 'Cause if you are I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, mister.
On second thought, I don't think I would want to be in your shoes anyway, mine is just the perfect size and comfortable and all that. So let's just move along shall we?:-D
I'm really not that interested in an mac anyway...
ummm I went to the nearest Apple store: http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/sw edenstor e
and to the most PC-like computer: G4
Now If I just could find "the dock"
Is it this? "Copyright (C) 2003 Apple Computer, Inc. Alla rattigheter forbehalls. Mer information finns i Villkor och Apples policy for integritetsskydd."
I'm not even sharing the directory I'm downloading to. I listen/whatch/whatever to the files first (OK maybe just a piece at the beginning, middle and end) and then mv it to where I want it, if I want it. I just delete it if I don't like it.
And if it's really good, I go out and buy the album.
People who sell open source/free software (either written by themselves or someone else) might be held liable to a certain extent. In that, they're no different from people who sell propietary software.
IANAL, but from what I understand, under the GPL you can't sell the software itself. You can charge for the distribution (like putting it on a CD and shipping it) of the software, or you can charge for warranty for the software.
You can't charge for the software itself.
IMO, you would only be liable for the distribution, since that's what you charge for.
Well, I wouldn't want to turn it off anyway, SMS is really great, but I have a feeling my carrier would probably charge me for turning the service off.
I once had a manual, in swedish (Yes you got printed manuals back then. Translated printed manuals.), for an Intel 286 system, that said something along the lines of:
"You could argue that an 80286 is really an Ultra fast 8086" (Man kan sÃga att en 80286 i princip Ãr en Ultrasnabb 8086)
It makes you wonder how fast the modern chips is in these terms.
You could set the phone not to ring when it is an unlisted number! If it is something important, the person calling will most likely leave a voice mail and you will probably get an SMS to tell you that. (Telemarketers dont leave voice mail, do they?) Just a thought...
Don't you mean UT2003?

You don't have to sit there and wait for it to shut down, silly!
There is a big difference between "Free" and "FREE".
example:
Free Software, FREE Spyware

You are seeing pa1m0ne and thinking palm2...
Palm born again...
Yet nothing about the "1" and "0". That's the bit that you are wondering about... What were they thinking?

No, i's not in English because I went to my *local* Apple store. Duh!
Still haven't found the dock though.

Thanks for the clarification

Uhmm? You can turn SMS-recieving off?
At least I can't do that on my Nokia. Sure I can turn off the ring-tone, but that won't help much...

Not an uncommon problem
Wide Ultra2 USB...
In one word I would assume
netraverse
net-ra-verse
And It's "Ogg" not "OGG"
Say after me: Ogg, Ogg, Ogg
And I'll throw in my IBM Deathstar
(No, it's not functional)
but... but... I use middleclick "off a link" to paste an URL into the browser window. I use that more often than you would think.
I'd say it would make more sense naming them *.vorbis.ogg
Here in Sweden, ALL cars come with seat warmers... or "butt heaters", as we call them :)
