    Really liked this article. I've experienced "flow" to a limited degree when playing music and playing video games, it's something I'd like to be able to attain more. The only time I really enter "flow" when playing music is when I'm improvising with other musicians and I get really 'in the zone' with what I'm playing.

    Since doing something creative, if not actually constructive, takes your time away from playing and buying the latest Nintendo games, I'm sure they're actually against such anti-consumerist ventures.

    Whats next youtube complying with Syrian government requests to remove videos of their citizens being killed by their own military? Whats the difference? Leave it to the governments to try and control information on behalf of their citizens don't do it for them.

    Having a presence at all in backwards countries including the US is the root problem.

    Yeah, Google should incorporate in the Cayman Islands. Or Liberia. Or maybe just move to cyberspace.

    Actually, Atul Gawande has a whole book about how such simple things checklists vastly could help improve medical outcomes.
    And he reports the surgeons are mostly resistant to the idea.

    I.in my experience, H1B's are not highly skilled. They're cheap and can be billed out at high rates. It's just a way for employers to further leverage themselves against employees. And we all know that employees have all the power in the relationship. Good for business, bad for Americans. Same shit, different party. This is my surprised face.

    ok, I admit it, Comcast was a flat-out brain-fart. I was thinking of them as a ISP, and forgot they bought NBC. (wait, maybe they'll kill it...)

    The original idea was hardware vendors versus the media companies, but then Google and Microsoft snuck in and muddied the waters.
