    What is left to figure out? What happened! If they don't know what happened it will be harder to stop it in the future.

    Sticking their heads in the stand is stupid, and I expect better behavior from the FSF then this.

    They why did he release the Hurd OS maintainer because the maintainter wanted a more Free license for the docs and RMS wanted a less free one?

    It appears that RMS isn't as consistant as he used to be.

    What happend about the Savannah compromise? According to a LWN.net interview with FSF director Bradley Kuhn it appears that the FSF is NOT trying to figure out what really happened.

    I am aware of this. It doesn't change my point. The GTK license (LGPL) allos such linking.

    I can call the Linux API from closed source apps with no license fee.

    I can not do the same thing with QT, it costs 1,200+ /dev for that right.

    I had a complete understand of the way the FS program worked before I posted.

    That doesn't change the fact the the FS program is a FOOD AID program. Using your logic, NASA missions aren't about space/science because they money is spent on earth.

    It is aid that provide food. It may have others effects, but it is a food aid program.

    The USA already as a food aid program. It is called foodstamps. All you have to do is fill out some paper work and apply.

    We spend billions per year on it.

    Now come on. 48 byte packes was a GRAND idea. After all one side wanted 32 byte packets and the other wanted 64 byte packets so they simply took the average of the two.

    They keep telling me that I qualify for DSL when I go online to check my bill, when I check they say no.

    But what do I expect, I live in an area where Cox internet is 1024/128.

    Credit card provides, at least in the USA, provide address and name checking. When you did this, where was you credit card bill being sent to?
