The world would be a much better place if we had another 50,000 elephants and rhinos, both of which are endangered species and predicted to disappear in the next couple decades.
Reminds me of a small group assignment I was part of many years ago. The two others answered the questions in point form and I was tasked with typing it up into full sentences on the computer and printing it out. We were quizzed in front of the class and I answered the majority of the questions. Felt pretty smart, even though the amount of work I did was probably less than them.
I think we're going to see a big transformation in the landscape of user interface in the next several years pushing us towards device-less interfaces.
So does this mean Polar Bears and Seals became acclimated to the abundance of North Pole ice in the last couple hundred years and adjusted their reproductive yield through evolution in that time? Obviously not possible, so what's the scoop here?
Add an inaudible (to the human ear) digital watermark?

If you've ever been a manager, you'd know that being "in charge" of something doesn't always mean "in charge" the way you think it should. Obviously, there are larger forces at work here and rather than battle them himself and lose, he's letting the world know what's going on. I think that's a smarter plan. There's some very powerful people behind this legislation. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of whatever tactics they might employ.
The the US government's huge influence on world governments, I wouldn't be surprised if a block request listed the specific countries as "all of them". Twitter is in no position to defy them. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
Just curious, who are these mythical presidential candidates hiding in the shadows who will save America from all its problems yet haven't been voted in thus far? Lately, it doesn't seem to make much different who gets voted in. You might say voting is easy enough that one could do it with their head up their ass.
If I really want a game, I'll probably buy it new if it's in the $50-60 range.
If I want it less, I'll wait for it to age for months and buy a cheaper, used copy.
Give me cheaper *new* copies over time and I won't need the used ones.
It's the same with movies: I'll go to the theatre if I really want to see a movie. Otherwise, I'll wait for it to come out on DVD and save some money.
Make the data available to the people being monitored. Be super up-front about it.
If people don't like it, they will use other ways to communicate with each other.
Yes, I feel the same. I watched as much as I could of the course but unfortunately didn't have time to get right into it as I would have as a young student (who lived at home). If it were more applicable to what I do at work, maybe I could have justified doing some of it during the day.
I found both the AI and ML classes had pronunciation errors and/or sloppiness that took away from the course. In a real live setting, you could ask the teacher to repeat what they said. Online, you can only rewind the video and hope that another listen helps (it often doesn't). Closed captioning would really help in this respect.
Not all of the quiz problems were well defined, either. In the AI class they didn't take away from your grade, but getting answers wrong due to either an ill-defined problem or not being taught the material yet is psychologically draining.
Anyway - main point is there is room for improvement and I'm sure they will.
You just mentioned that you use addons at work - it could very well be those addons are making Firefox crash or randomly lock up. If not, you could try creating a new Firefox browser profile.
Curious why you chose Chrome over Opera, though.

I hate to ask this, but does the demographic of Linux users encompass a mass of gamers? I use Linux exclusively for work.
The Kenetic Energy Penetrator was already taken: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQjKZ9fgIcM
Nice. SOPA indirectly gives *anyone* the ability to take down a website: Just post some illegal content in the comment section. How can that be right?
Bet you feel like a big man for putting others down. Well done. I can tell you have a good sense of what's classy.
Almost as annoying as "Johnny and [1 more] like this comment"

Can we also get rid of the counterfeit politicians who are selling out to big business?
Apple is way ahead of them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXyNgXTt0ns

That's enough to drive someone to drink! I could never do phone support.

Easy enough to filter for calls > than 15 seconds or sort by most-connected numbers, unless you call the same wrong numbers regularly.
I wonder how drinkable it would be... full of radiation, maybe?

I did a quick skim to 5 scenes and if what I saw was any indication, you're better of doing something else for 2 hours.
I could see someone simply redefining 'space' at a convenient time. "It's not in space, it's in orbit within Earth's magnetosphere"
