It's "FILM at 11". Obviously the news is already there.
Also, that was a fun line back in 1998.

If the OK/Yes/No buttons were unavailable, people would not have to read the stupid long text those are preceded with to know wether to click Yes or No.
In most cases, these mus be replaced with a short sentence that summarizes the action. How many times do clueless users press "yes" just to get rid of a dialog box they did not ask to appear ?
For instance, instead of "Do you want to install IRipYouOff Yes/No", one should be compelled to use "Do you want to IRipYouOff Install/Don't install".
Also, microsoft, please add a "never trust this site" button.
So Alice sends Bob a file, along with it's checksum. Bob applies the hashing function to the file, and controls the result with the checksum. Bob sees they match and concludes Mallory can't possibly have tampered the file, as there's one chance in a google that the tampered file would have the same checksum.
But what exacty proves to Bob that Mallory's hypothetical man-in-the-middle attack didn't also replace the checksum with one consistant with the tampered file he tries to inject ?
It's spelled "sans". And putting random words in French is not "chic". Same remark for "faux". What's wrong with "fake" ? I guess you can't even pronounce "sans" of "faux" correctly.
 remember Archimedes ? vertical upwards push equalling weight of displaced volume ? So you need minimal total weight or a huge volume, basically displacing one metric tonne of air.
You DO NOT speak Latin. Stop making up words. There is no plural tu the latin word virus. It means "poison", the plural of which is "much poison" (notice the absence of an s) in most contexts.
Even if it had a Latin plural, it would not be "virIi". That would be the plural of "virIus" which doesn't exist. It cannot be "viri" either, as this is the nominative plural of "vir" (man).
Will we get the same problem with 64-bit processors as with DVD-ROMs ?
It's indeed quite possible that as for the DVDs, software editors may decide it's cheaper to only make one version, the one that's going to work on any system.
How many PC video games are available on DVD ? Very few. Because of the 10% that only own a regular CD player, we still have to swap disks.
I can see the same coming for 64-bit processors, especially for the AMD64 that are x86-32 compatible.
You suck at the capitalism.
An idiot that would put $150 into a remote is almost idiot enough to pay $700 for it. Economists at Sony just analysed that the optimum point was at $700.
Das Kopyreit Law ist geliegal. A Licenz gibt echstra Gerights tu der Juser unter zome Konditioner. Der Juser ist total frei to nicht taken diese Gerights, in which Kase Standart Kopyreit Law appleitz. Ende of die Storien.
For me, gif is useless as I can not AA filter an image against the alpha channel which is inexistant in gif.
In GIF this results in my roundish buttons having edges with a faded version of the color that was selected as transparent. I lose the usefulness of the transparent color, and have to explicitly select it according to the background color.
In PNG too, but then again the faded shades of the alpha channel are just that, a beautiful alpha gradient, independent of the actual background color.
You did not get Latin classes. Get over it. There is nothing to be ashamed of. That language is only useful to scholars, and even a Romance language speaker will get a better grasp at his own language by learning a near (foreign romance) or far (German) cousin language.
So don't try to make up a plural form for Latin words. the plural form of virus is not virii, that would be the plural form of virius. "Virus" is apparently one of the few neuter words of the second declination, and has no plural.

Well you don't have to pay the guys who *worked* on it. Only the leech will get you $699
I tried to register as "little whore", and it complained it was a naughty word. "little ho" seems to be fine though.
100 Mbit = 12 MBytes, not very much more than MPEG 2 video.
Yes, because perl is rejected by all slashdotters as a bad language, because Larry Wall happens to believe in Baby Jesus.
Obviously, the Mars base was made on a budget. Noticed Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 ? It looks and sounds like a 1980s game.

That's interesting. I never even considered there was a canadian approach ? Do you mainly speak British or American ? What about Aussies ? Indians ?
Isn't it either ("eather"/"ither") colorized or coulourised ?
