Mainly the Flash 4 plug-in for Netscape in Linux, I like to go to a site that use alot of Flash you know. Hey I have to keep netscape when it comes to something like that you know.
Here at the company I work for we use IE. I started out using Netscape a long time about but after a when M$ start put IE inside of the OS and started upgrading it to the point where I didn't care for downloading Netscape no more. I did check out Netscape 6 and I can't wait for them to get all the bugs out of it. Just remember every Windows platform from 98 on up will have IE on it(from what I know).
When I'm at work and we want to show some HTML inside of our program we use the IE Active X control... Why? Because we know every our day has it. Yeah it could sound odd but it makes it easier to program something like that nothing you don't have to tell the person to download it.
Yeah, I do hate the fact that M$ have a cap on most of the computer market when it comes to me thing like that. I think if IE didn't start coming with every new M$ OS then Netscape wouldn't not have to do what they do to get money. I just think that's mean and down right evil... They knew what they was doing before they did it...
I would still like to see a Boland compiler, being able to download a newer RealPlayer for Linux and being able to feel save of Peter Norotn's Apps. It's not just about being able to see Director in Linux... Flash would be nice. =)
People keep going and develeping games, software, and hardware that only works with M$ stuff. I have a bad feeling about using MS stuff now right along with there updates and patches for Win2K. I guess I'll boot into Linux pay for the VMware Emulator and start making a diffirents. Hell it's time for a change, so people don't want that it... While most do... Adobe, Macromedia, and other companies just need to look into to Linux or other OS if anything.
Hey BeOS could be good for games, If the developers that use the APIs right. Remember there SDL,Qt,OpenAL,OpenGL,Mesa and I could go on. I'm a Linux/Windows user but hey BeOS have there upsides so don't flame them.
I don't get it... Sega was doing great and they games they have coming around the coner too. Oh well I guess I could look forward to somemore Sega PC games... Just don't make them Windows base again... I hate that.
Okay I got friends that got a kick ass computer but all he do is play games. I sit in my room and surf the web, program, and help my friends make CDs off of MP3.com. I have a Dreamcast and I can't see my self paying $300 for a console. I got a Geforce 2($300 card) and all that mean is that I can turn up all the grapic details in Quake 3 but it's still the same game I don't care how good it looks. That's the only upgrading I'm doing to my computer in a long time.
Why a game system? Just put in the game and that's it. That's what I love about my DC! I don't have to fight over drivers. Write or post about games being ported to Linux(I still want them tho) and download patches for a game. Game systems is great, if someone never used a computer then what would they have to do? Learn the OS(Windows because it's easier for most), then make sure they have the right almount of Ram, Hardrive space, Video card and a good CPU for that game. Also you have to remember if you want your games to look good as consoles you would have to make sure you keep upgrading. That includes from the Ram on up to the OS knowing M$.

As for the PS2 and the DC it's all about the games. I don't care how they look, you can tell people what hey want but if they see a good game on PS2 then they will go there. If the same game is put out on both the DC and PS2 and let the user show how the game look. I would like to play FF 9, but I don't feel like going out and PS just for that. It's all about the companies, because they don't care how hard it is to program for long as people keep going and staying hype then the will keep pushing out games.
Hey dude, I'm black to but you need to let that shit go. I have black friends but most of them don't put stuff off or cut down white people. White people are still people. If you have sex with a white girl don't you get a mix kid? We are all human and I go to work and program speak ebonics off and on, but I still do my work and I can speak like a normaly every day person when I feel like it. Maybe your last employer don't like black people, they don't mind the rest of them don't too.
I'm a Linux user in all, but if MS fall I want them to fall the right way and no other. Besides I wouldn't feel right putting something into my program and knowing that I got it the wrong way.
