I higly doubt it! No so much Linus working at Microsoft, but more the 'the open source community is working for [Microsoft] now" thing.
I highly doubt there would be many developpers that would want to "work for Microsoft" or have their code used in their products. Hell, they'd probably even create and release code under a license that specifically forbade MS - and only MS - from using any of the code in MS products
MS's plan is to make money out of sheer volume, not quality, so yes, competing products will have to drop prices if they want to stay in the game. Unfortunately, it also means that all the products will not be a good a quality as what they might have been
Well, yes, otherwise you just zoom past your target. And besides, it makes for a better hit as you speed up to hit them as you can line up your shot before hitting the nitro.
This is one of those games that you don't need to know difficult controls or button sequences - just push the gas button, steer, and use the nitro occasionally.
It's also fun because it's real easy, you don't have to be super-precise, and you don't end up getting killed constantly.
This version is a great improvement over #2, which was fun for the crashing part, but wasn't as interesting as #1 for the racing. #3 combines the best of both ealier versions, with much, much more racing venues and gameplay.
Definitivly a 'get-it' item, but if you're into racing games you should also look into #1 if you havent' already.
That's how our government works, and it's how we participate.
You seem to forget that we each need to have a $50000 cheque included with our protests; clearly we don't each have that, but the BSA/**AA do. That's also how things work.
Perhaps people are forgetting there are these neat little gadgets called televisions. I, myself, own several. They can be used to watch DVDs (and you can bet the MPAA doesn't want to break compatibility), TV
Perhaps you're forgetting the TFA talks about: the fact that the guy wanted it to play the HD version of the movie; and perhaps you're also forgetting that most TVs don't play HD stuff.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing".
When 'evil' is the government or multi-billion-dollar lobbyists, there's not much 'good men' can do without the equivalent power in money.
Read other posts, you'll see that writing to your PM is basically pointless unless you've got a $20000 check in the evelope too (and even then it'll be considered pocket change)

Obviously you don't have a clue of what you're talking about - the FM transmitter on this thing is superb (crystal clear withing 2 car lengths, which is more than enough)
Of course only an AC troll like you would assume you need to "overpower whatever station", when there's already a blank frequency available for such devices. (DUH!!)
Yes, I do enjoy my MP3 player. Gee, I say MP3 player, not "TV/VCR/DVD" or 'TV/VCR/DVD/MP3' or 'TV/VCR/DVD/PVR/DVD-R/WATCH-RADIO-SCUBA-GEAR'. Did you read that, troll?
So how about you just STFU and stop being a waste of internet bandwidth, lameass troll?
People write emails like they speak. No, I'm not talking about 'getto' talk, or anything like that - what I mean is that they type stuff, don't look back, and just send it. They don't take the time to re-read what they wrote to make sure it's correct, clear or coherent.
Add to that the fact that most people are slow at typing, and their thoughts outrun their fingers and they forget to type some of those words. I see this every day in our online support desk requests.
People just need to take the time to read what they write in their correspondance, and most just don't.
Does it have radio, FM broadcast, recording,etc..?

My Muro MR-100 has all this, in a very small form factor; these are why I bought it over an iPod (better feature/price ratio for what I wanted/needed)
Now this site is slashdotted, but does this new iPod have these??
Just my opinion. Of course I wasn't going for 'Funny', or anything in fact, just that I wanted to point out that dimmed menus (which the article seems to complain about) in Macs is much more useful than windows' way of being counter-productive.
This doesn't keep a consistent menu, which is totally annoying. Also, instead of not telling the use that the action is not available, it just hides it (talking Word here as an example); seeing a menu dimmed is much more helpful than having to search for that menu.
And in Word it's not a case of 'least used menus'; I'm using word this very minute, and menu items that I've used, seconds apart, are always hidden ('minimal menu' mode for lack of a better or official term). So I'm wasting more time searching for menus than I should, and it's just totally annoying.
Well, dimmed menus are a heck of a lot better than hidden ones, a la Windows (with the stupid down arrow thingy you have to click to have everything show), which is totally counter-productive (typical Windows) instead of actually being helpful. I'd like to punch the person that thought that stupid thing up.
I'll admit I don't know how this membership stuff works for Internet2, but wouldn't it expose who they are, and therefore be easily blocked out of 'looking' into what's being traded?

occasionally? OCCASIONALLY?"

With the crap that coming out the theatres, I won't be long until other industries top them.
Funny how they're not mentioned, again (same as when Google Images was announced)

Thanks!
