take off the tin-foil hat, yes, the DoD can and has done that, and does have the authority to do that. It's also worth noting THAT IT'S NO BIG DEAL!!! look for *no comments* comment above
uhm no, you have spyware, that's the problem. The googlebar blocks pop-ups from webpages. IF the pop-ups aren't being blocked, then the pop-ups aren't coming from the pages. Go download spybot.
Once that has finished, go run the free panda virus scanner http://www.pandasoftware.com/
I'm for less gun control. If you have to keep a gun locked in a underground vault, why not your cigarette lighter? Way more kids die from that. It's not an issue because it looks less threatening. What we really need is more water bucket control because more little kids die drowning in those things that guns
as for abortion I consider it murder. I used to be pro choice until the 'silent scream'. As a grown man that made me want to cry. Now I find myself even debating the "in the instance of rape" option.
uhhm dood, pudge is a conservative man. You should go read his journals. He's a very intelligent Bush supporter. It's funny that you make that comment to pudge of all people.
Slashdot just broke one of the 2 rules of peacekeeping conversation, don't talk about religion or politics. They might as well start up religion.slashdot.org and flame on.
Does it work in Linux? Got a URL?
ps. I've been sitting on a gmail invite for awhile and can't seem to find someone to give it too. If you want it, just drop me a note.
How about the new laptop from 3M? They've invented a method by which you use a stylus with an embedded graphite core which actually transposes the text onto a flat and flimsy surface manufactured with some sort of parchment-like material.

Big deal. They also made http://www.overseasvote2004.com/ page. Get over it. What's to be upset about?
sorry dear_raed was, until he went on hiatus.
OpenBSD runs very nicely on a soekris box.
I wish i had posted AC so I could mod you, hehehe
I keep telling people that by this time next year Novell will rule the world. This is just another example of how that is going to happen.

Yoper Linux really does look like it could be the first serious competition Gentoo has had in a long time.
uhhhh have you heard of Red Hat, Mandrake, Suse, Debian, Turbo, etc...? First real competition...phht! Gimme a break.
like this?
not quite, you see the difference is the baby is a baby. Death penalty is killing killers.

America inline? sheesh, it's "American Online".
Are you new?
I like the rants people put in there. Like the 405 loogies. It's from the Seattle area, but applies anywhere http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/sea/35334909. html
I do this on my linux boxes and it works really well. A quick google talks about people doing this between *nix and windows.
Amazon
That sounds actually quite interesting. Can you explain more?
true that there is a lot of degredation after one rewrite cycle but the cost of the media is cheap enough to where it doesn't matter all that much.
