You are forgetting that MTV 's target demographic is retards, I mean teenagers. :P

Jokes aside, I doubt most teens (and probably most adults) have heard of Amelie. MTV caters to a pop culture hungry group. Legally blonde is pop culture, Amelie is not. It's like being exasperated that Nickelback was not nominated for an Essence Award.

It is grammatically correct. "NVIDIA Unveils The GeForce4" No problems here, verb tense is just fine. "(And Tom's Reviews)" Noticw how they said "Tom's". "Tom's" is short for "Tom's Hardware". Tom's Hardware is a singular noun. So, "reviews" is the correct form of the verb.

  6. The Power of Goverment on Brazil Breaks Patent to Make AIDS Drug · · Score: 1

Why not have world goverments doing drug research? It would be beneficial to the people, it would be funded by tax payers, and the medicine would be naturally less expensive, because there are no patents (since it's our goverment and we are paying for it, they don't own it-- we do). They already regulate drug safety. Let's take it a step farther and have them make the drugs.
