Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow aren't extremely different stories; mainly because they occur at the same time and at the same location as each other. Ender's Game follows Ender while he's training to destroy the buggers, while Ender's Shadow follows Bean while he's training alongside with Ender to destroy the buggers.
My guess is when they say that the movie follows both books, they're just saying that they're going to be using the complete story that's developed throughout the two books as the two books essentially just complement each other.
Out of curiousity, do you guys offer any educational discounts? I was working on my research paper the other day and was wishing that I actually bought TextMaker when you guys had that $11.11 sale going. I can't really afford the suite at $70.
I don't know if I've misread, but to me it appears that they are NOT doing this from India. Abika is based in Wyoming, and the only reason as to why this was profiled in Times of India was because "Patel says he is writing this week to Jagdish Tytler, the Minister for Overseas Indians, offering his services in such a way that it can be done free for the neediest."
I can tell you that it already works. They released a preview copy of Cedega 4.2 to their Emerald members (those who have been subscribed for 18+ months). Steam has worked fine in Cedega 4.0.1 and up in the past, so Steam obviously wasn't a problem. As for Half-Life 2, it runs very well.
Actually, the Thomson drive problem is a very well known problem in the Xbox community. I'm surprised it took so long for the lawsuit to happen, as this is definitely something worthy of one. There are definite grounds for a class action, regardless of whether the Xbox died within the (lame) 90-day warranty period. Surely it's normal to expect such a product as an Xbox to function for at least a year? Thomson drives suck. Period.
I believe there's been a class action suit against Sony for this exact reason already. They settled by giving free repairs for PS2s with DREs (disk read errors). Everyone I know has been able to get free repairs for DRE-related problems when their PS2s failed. You do have to pay for shipping, however.
So Nintendo shold pay for all the free advertising SuicideGirls received on Slashdot this week? Did Nintendo post the Slashdot blurbs, or did Slashdot do that?
Yes, iRiver does do this; however their 40GB H340 will (it's not out yet) be priced about the same or higher than the LCD 60GB iPod, at least if we were to believe the info provided here. Personally, I still plan to buy a 60GB iRiver H360 if they come out with one, I've not had very good luck with iPods.
I don't have a direct link, but you might be able to find it on google. The name of the album is "Machina II - Friends & Enemies of Modern Music". Obviously you'll have better luck searching for "machina 2" or "machina II" or something.
Smashing Pumpkins did not rush to release their last album on P2P before it hit the stores, rather, they used P2P as the *only* way to release the album. They sent out 25 vinyl sets of the album to various community members to get a P2P release going.
AMD has No Execute on Athlon 64 processors, so it's certainly not an Intel specific thing. As the Slashdot blurb mentions, Transmeta recently added it as well. But no, older processors do not have No Execute on it.
Seems to me that this an article about Korea. Where does China come in?

Go get some Infinium Labs and SCO shares.

Why? X-Plane 8.0 has a native port. And X-Plane is quite awesome.

Funny you should mention that. Here's one of EA employee entries posted as a comment to the ea_spouse entry.

Essentially, that person got fired for doing pretty much what you just mentioned.

It's LinuxWorld conference in San Francisco.

I learned that it's not a good idea to check the airflow on a high-power 120mm Delta fan in an open case if said fan does not have a fan grille on it.
Yeah, that really bled. And hurt. All my fans have grilles on them now.
Working fine for me. Browsed the site at an acceptable speed; registering for a cert now. Not sure what you're complaining about.
Two out of those will work. Though Far Cry has to run in OpenGL mode to work, Call of Duty works perfectly, and even Painkiller works.

I use a D-Link DWL-122, works very well with linux-wlan-ng using the Prism 2 driver. Even worked on a Mac!
That's very cool of you, thanks! Hope you're not paying for it out of your own pocket, though.
An Akamaitech mirror? You're my new best friend.
