How did you get it out of the path of the rain? I live in Florida, too, and the only place I can find that stays dry during a good storm is inside. And that's assuming the roof doesn't leak.;)

That'll never happen. Everybody knows you can't find good shit anywhere on TV.;)

yes, helpfully; it suggests i should observe from the middle of lake ontario.
Well, if you have access to a boat, that _would_ be a great place to watch from.
Living in South Florida for my entire life, I can say without a doubt that the greatest night skies I have ever seen were observed from a boat anchored a few miles from shore.

Just one thing puzzles me: why have they retitled the film 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' in the States? Don't Merkin children know what a Philosopher's Stone is?
...Not to mention that you could easily, legally, and without harassment buy a used guitar from pawn shops, consignment stores, garage sales, eBay, etc. for a fraction of the price of a new one. I doubt it would be that easy to get you're hands on a used.NET toolkit/license. (even after they've had time to age...)
As everyone knows by now...Kazaa is using top text links [...] My advice would be to get ad-aware.
I was playing with KaZaA for a few days, but didn't install Top Text with it. (It pays to read those stupid installation screens, I guess.) Anyway, today I ran Ad-Aware and nuked a couple of hits (from Cydoor). After it finished, KaZaA refused to run, because components were missing.
The punchline was that it wouldn't even uninstall from Add/Remove Programs. I had to reinstall it just to uninstall it nicely.
I've installed Morpheus from musiccity.com, and I'm running Ad-Aware again. Wonder if this'll turn out any differently...
(Side note, damn if Morpheus doesn't look almost exactly like Kazaa.)
Good point. I still think it's funny. :)
I know I'm going to regret posting in this thread, but I can't resist:

I wonder if it works the other way.

Would it be easier to find a job if I cancelled my DSL and invested in a flock of pigeons?
The look on grandma's face when I email her the latest baby pictures might just seal the deal.
There are *millions* of people that would have given their left arm just for the ability to write with a pen so they can get a decent job.
;)
That would kind of defeat the purpose, since I write with my left hand.

Ah, good. At least I'm doing something right.
Actually, it's "viruses (dammit!)".
- Hoping somebody will get the obscure reference...
For the record, my wife doesn't even like diamonds. :) And if I told her all the @#$ that DeBeers does, she'd probably spread it like hot gossip.
No kidding. The only reason my wife's ring has diamonds is because they were heirlooms that have been in her family for several generations.
It's working. My confirmation email took quite a while to arrive.
Hey, give 'em a break. They're artists, not mathematicians...
Waa waa waa. You sound just like my boss.
I suppose that when I get there you'll want me to actaully _do_ work, too...
Yep, that's what I thought...
...Not enough foreplay, usually.
Man, am I in the wrong line of work...
As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words:
Non Sequitur from 6/3
Then why do I keep getting speeding tickets?
