Why not regulate all adobe product line, no point just doing it to the home addition, same with yearly subscription prices.
You might even convince some of the pirates that its worth buying.
My nine year old nephew informed me last week that he definitely wanted a 3DS rather than an iPod Touch because it's 3D! That's better than the iPod Touch which isn't 3D at all. But I think in a few years he'll see the benefit of the iPod. Being able to buy a game a week with his allowance rather than saving up for a $30 or $40 game is a big advantage.
Nintendo needs to wake up to the fact that game prices are going down. A game like the Legend of Zelda will probably still sell for $50, but they need to be competing more strongly in the under $10 market. That means getting their Internet connectivity sorted out and expanding the selection of downloadable titles.
Since when is FTP dead for "large file transfers"??? Visit the mirror list for any linux distribution and you will find many many links to download DVD ISO images via FTP.
A majority of the country's international routes were also down for a while early morning on Sunday

P.S. out_of_the_blue, try some anti-depressants. Then you can be a freetard like the rest of us.
HP's purchase of Palm and Palm's WebOS sounded the death knell for WebOS. A truly excellent smart phone OS which HP has decided not to continue to market on smart phones.
We don’t intend to carry it forward,” Mr. Neyland added. “Darpa hands the keys over to this entity, and we wish them well.
The plaintiffs are claiming that the location-tracking feature on the iPhone has inflicted emotional distress on the device owners.
Approximations got man to the moon.
I don't actually have a Facebook account, but by what I've seen a lot of people have less than a passing acquaintance with several of their Facebook friends. This can't really prove the "six degrees of separation" theory true.
Based on the comments here, it is pretty clear most people on Yahoo don't have a clue what libertarianism is.
“dashboard that shows your happiness over time, and how it compares to the relative bliss of other couples” Sounds like the HOV lane to exactly the kind of gross self-destructive overanalytical behavior that rocks many relationships in the first place–another way to wallow in misery online. I think at-risk couples would do better to spend less time in front of glowing screens and more time in bed without clothes.

Don't want to hurt anybody except criminals, but there have been some remarkable health recoveries by people who learn how much and what kind of nutrition to add to their regime for their particular health issue. Many nutrients and their benefits are not common knowledge and if you don't know how or where to find the appropriate information, then start looking the best way that you can. Internet search engines are quickest way. The documentation of these recoveries is huge. It is time for everyone to have access to this knowledge by all patents' doctors. If your doctor doesn't speak a great deal about your nutrition intake, you need to find one who will. The one that you have may not want to give up his or her drug company kickbacks.
I think it depends how the book is written. For, say, an Agatha Christie it might be vital, but for Terry Pratchett the story itself is the entertainment.
The riots were the perfect excuse for this blatant abuse of authority and rampant rights violations. It kind of reminds me of 911 bringing about the PATRIOT act in the U.S. The UK and US are swiftly moving towards becoming Police States.
Mr Hanlon misses some points: If the Apple strategy was the winner in the long run, (a) the world would be full of brick/mortar "99 cent stores", (b) you would be driving a us$2500 Tata car instead of a Honda or BMW. (c) Apple would not be so restrictive and imposing to developers of apple stores apps if it wasnt playing a little insecure (d) the digital market changes direction on a sec. Who would say wed have Android 4 years ago? What if Google goes into gaming or if someone creates a new plattform? What if Jobs quits its job? I flew Narita-LAX recently, and a Nintendo hardware cinematics expert was across the aisle. A boring trip had me asking on Zelda and Mario on IOs, following the stockowners pressure. At one time he smiled and just said... "yeah, maybe they do an awful mistake, but my friend, just wait for next years christmas, an taste what we are now baking, ha ha!
USB 3 trumps SATA, SATA trumps USB 3...Thunderbolt trumps... ...firewire?
In my case Linux would be a great alternative for home/small business if only it ran a few niche programs that I simply cannot live without, for the most part professional music apps such as Finale and Sibelius. When you're actually trying to get work done it really isn't to the point to spend half of your time trying to get apps like that to run, another half looking for native alternatives (usually open-source and not ready for pro work) and the third half petitioning software publishers to support your favorite OS.
"causing them to consume 200 times more power than the typical office space." And a grapefruit tastes 200 times more like a grapefruit than a kiwi does.
Sounds promising, but what if all of your cells are infected? or 80%? or 50%? or 20%? Could the cure be worse than the disease? “The good news is that we killed off the virus that was making you sick. The bad news is that we killed you too”.
Amazing, that's exactly what was asked in the article! It's almost like you read it!
The story is misleading in that it leads the non communications savvy reader to think that P25 itself is supposed to be inherently unmonitorable, which is not true. The biggest concern in this article would be the ability for P25 signals to be jammed (anyone’s not just Motorola’s). No matter who makes the radio, operator error is a fact of life. I work with people who can’t figure out how to switch zones on their radios after having had them for five years. That’s mainly because they don’t care, not because it’s particularly difficult.
It must be difficult to balance the gigantic task of protecting the country from terrorist attacks while still maintaining respect for privacy rights of citizens. It doesn't appear that the DHS is doing a great job of that, thank you for illuminating us with the article on how advocates view this situation.
Stay off the porn sites dude and you won't have problems like that.
Gamification doesn't refer to games themselves (Farmville being a game.) It refers to adding game-like qualities (dynamics) to things that are not inherently games, like eating at restaurants or buying new shoes.
