The great area of Ste-Agathe is made up of several municipalities: Ste-Agathe-of-mounts, Ste-Agathe-North, St-Adolphe d' Howard, Ivry-on-the-Lake; one can even regard the municipalities of Lantier and Ste-Lucie as belonging to this great area. The heart of this area is composed of 2 quite overlapping municipalities one in the other: Ste-Agathe-of-mounts and Ste-Agathe-South. So well quite overlapping unit which they amalgamated. But for people of outside, these administrative divisions have little importance: one comes to spend his holidays to Ste-Agathe! This area is well furnished in infrastructures with tourism and Ste-Agathe can praise herself to have accomodated generations of holiday makers and tourists. Whatever your needs, Ste-Agathe can praise capacity to fill them on the spot. Hotel trade and the restoration hold a place of choice to with it. Doesn't the train pass to Ste-Agathe any more? What imports! One renovates the station and one transforms the railroad into cycle track, a single concept in North America. Fruit of a dialogue of the tourist area of Laurentides the linear park "the p' tit Train of North" crosses tens of villages throughout its 200 kilometers. You can most easily use it of the world starting from Ste-Agathe, with the site of the old station, by the various means adapted to the seasons: motoneige, ski touring, cycling and pedestrian excursion. This park is probably one of the most beautiful tourist achievements of Laurentides. In this great area, the sports and the activities of winter do not have anything to envy those of the summer. The winter in North, great festival of the winter with Ste-Agathe, makes it possible to appreciate splendours of the winter well. The summer also brings its batch of activities: beach, swimming, motomarine, boat, veil, cycling, pedestrian excursion, and even more... Whatever your stay in the great area of Ste-Agathe, we can ensure you that you will leave there magic. And to how will return you there!
