  1. SCO Group on Adios, Caldera; Hello, SCO Group · · Score: 1

Sounds like a support group for people who have had to support SCO Unixware!
Hi, I'm dan. And I use scoadmin.

  2. I downloaded LOTR, what a mistake on Bootleg Star Wars AotC Debuts on Internet · · Score: 5, Insightful

I downloaded a bootleg version of LOTR when it came out. It realy spoils the awe that accompanies seeing the film on the big screen for the first time. Having made the mistake once, I won't do it again. After all, the wait is just like waiting for Christmas as a little kid.

    Thats what I think, anyway.

I saw the iso's sitting there. I just hope my usual mirrors have them so I can get them after work.

  5. The last couple of paragraphs on Alleged eBay Hacker Goofs up and Goes to Jail · · Score: 1

This has been brought up before on /. But the father in this case is supporting his son right to make an ass out of himself in court. If the he broke the law, his father should support him to remedy the situation. Not support him is attmept to skew reality. I'm willing to bet, as this boy grew up, he did no wrong!

Well, that is what I think.

  6. Cartoon Cartoon on I Wanna Watch Cartoons! · · Score: 1

What happened to the original "Cartoon Cartoon"?? It was half an hour of short cartoons. They were clever fresh and funny. Oh Well....

    Such acolades.
I registered UltraEdit to use on Unicode files.
However, I found it had some short commings.
When I raised the issue with the developer(s) all I
got was a canned, "It works our way" response.
If there was ever a peice of software that I wish

  9. Re:BeOS...? on Niche Operating Systems · · Score: 1

I would assume they didn't consider Be a niche OS since it had a descent number of people actively working on it on a regular basis. Most of the listed OS were small groups of people. If there was a group at all.

There is a competitor to the iPaq, check out:

It has a full PCMCIA slot which is a nice feature.

However, I use a Palm 3ce and it does exactly what I have come to expect from my old organizers.
