yup, thats why Linux is good for both. I don't see any difference between $500 and $50 phone when it comes to an OS. Linux fits perfectly, the only limitations are applications, different for different phones.

In Poland same thing is happening, on pretty large scale, some legal office - Pro Bono (sic), is sending to many internet users in PL letters demanding paying them some amount of money (from $30 to few thousands) and signing an agreement in which that user agrees to pay and, agrees that he/she is guilty of that CRIME and will cease all the illegal activities online (like downloading movies from torrent sites). What is important here is the way how this office obtained users addresses and IPs. Such info is not available to everyone and can be gathered only with courts permission under specific circumstances. That Pro Bono says that it is their KNOW-HOW how they do that, but is it legal?
I guess soon the ONR will be "rebranded" into ONI - Office of Naval Intelligence and this is just the begining. Get ready to kick some Covenant asses!!!

I 2 year old loves Angry Birds (and is pretty good at it too!) and recently pointed to a real life bird outside saying "shoot!". (Actually he spoke Dutch, and said "afschieten" but this is a good enough translation, I guess.)
There's plenty of non-violent games. Unfortunately, kind tend to think shooting is more cool than leading some ball around, building a city or solving various logical puzzles. Also, non-violent games are usually involve more thinking, which is frowned upon in modern society, even more so among children.
Off the top of my head: Portal, SimCity, various Tycoon games, Neverball, Bejeweled, Tetris
