I've had tons of fun playing around with my 2MP camera phone. The image quality is bad and any light source in the field of vision will lead to overexponated images. Does that mean I can't take artistic images? Not at all. By knowing the weaknesses of the camera I can use them to my advantage.
Had the same problem. Uninstalling flashblock and installing the latest version solved the problem.
Point 1: There's this weird bug where my flash blocker plugin is now doing JUST THAT. Nothing in flash works. It is just a blank screen. A community website that I browsed frequently in the past, and is ONLY accesible thru their Flash client, is now non-accesible. Since the blocker just presents a blank page, regardless of how much re-loading or clicking I do on the > arrow.
Been fairly pleased with Emusic. High-bitrate mp3s for 0,25USD. Yes it's a monthly subscription and they don't have mainstream crap, but other than that they're great. Did I say that they offer mp3s?
And then there's allofmp3. 0,02USD/1Mb. Using a loophole in russian copyright legislation. Been operating for years.
Sure, but Apple aren't really in the content-provision business. The reason they have iTMS and iTunes is mainly to encourage people to buy iPods. Just the same as the reason they write MacOS is to sell computers.
Q3 2005 earnings on OS X was 100 million USD, so they seem to make some money on software as well.
People's been saying otherwise, ever since the switch was made public. The price of a G4/G5 is apparently a whole lot cheaper than the corresponding Intel Pentium M.
I'm not too sure either on fighting between Intel and AMD. AMD currently lacks the fabs to be able to guarantee a steady supply of processors for Apple.

Show me a hardware junkie that wouldn't drool over a quad-core Mac Pro.
Another vote for that design. Perhaps it's time to cut the excess baggage?
Max Payne was developed by Remedy of Finland, but distributed by 3DRealms. Duke Nukem seems to be developed by 3DRealms. Makes a big diffrence.

Using crappy equipment is loads of fun.
Nokia has released quite a few open source projects. See http://opensource.nokia.com/projects/

You mean like Nupedia? That sure was a success.
Why would you compare a kernel to what is essentially a GUI to DOS?

So once you're logged in you can find out if you just gave your password and username to a phisher or not? Brilliant!
Something like the RSA SecurID?

Yeah, mp3s are all illegal. And what else do you expect to happen when you host a site named "mp3s4free"?

I've been playing around with SWFtools the last couple of days. It's fairly basic and undocumented, but seems to be able to do a few things.

Espen's actually a fairly common Norwegian name.
