Multiprocess Firefox is coming soon.
Vast majority of the consumers are like the frog in a pan that is being heated up very gradually. The frog doesn't realize it but it will be eventually cooked alive.
These consumers are slowly opting-in, slowly uploading their personal photos, slowly allowing their personal emails to be scanned until one day, they would realize how far down the road they have come.
I was so with you until you mentioned better memory management.
Despite what Firefox folks say about improved memory handling, it is still a huge hog.
Even then, it is my browser of choice for the other reasons you mentioned.
Despite the glitches, the fact that there is a man-made object currently sitting on the surface of a comet and beaming back actual pictures is flippin' mindblowing !
No, it does not seem permanent.
As per the original plan, the secondary batteries were expected to receive about 7 hrs of sunlight each 12.4 hr comet day.
Now it is expected to be only 1.5 hrs. This will definitely impact experiments that need to continuously run for long periods of time.
. . . plus by learning the language . . . you also learn the culture. And be able to understand it better. That makes real business sense.
While this might be true for other countries, it is not necessarily so for India.
English is recognized as the secondary official language of the country (with Hindi being the official one). Even lowly clerks in government offices speak English (albeit with an accent). The huge amount of information & literature available in English and the high percentage of English-speaking population in India make learning Hindi optional.
Moreover, even though Hindi is the dominant language, it is only one of many. If you are doing business with a company based in Bangalore, chances are very high that the mother tongue of your business partner is Kannada (which has almost nothing in common with Hindi).
Save yourself some precious time - learn the culture, skip the language.
The truth is, there was no drug test to begin with.
The chairman of the selection committee wanted to recruit his nephew so all 100 applicants were failed on the pretext of a drug test.
Thanks. I suppose by "manually initiate installation of the printer" you mean to plug the printer into the USB port and to let the Windows wizard pop up, and from that wizard to select the.INF files?
Go to hp.com and navigate to the Support and Drivers section and then to Drivers and Software section. Search for your printer product number. You would be presented with a page that lists all the available downloads for your printer. Look for the section Driver. If you are lucky (like this page), the download under this section should be in 10-30 MB range. If so, it includes just the driver and nothing else (no installer etc). You will have to manually initiate installation of your printer and point to this package when prompted for the driver files.
In case you are not so lucky (like this page), there will be no option to download a driver only package. Instead, you will have to download the full software. Nevertheless, it should not be difficult to locate the actual driver in this package by searching for.INF files. After that, just manually initiate installation of the printer.
I don't know how much the concept of universal drivers has caught on, but HP provides drivers which can print to a variety of different physical printer devices. So, instead of downloading a different driver each for your different printers, you just install one HP Universal Printer Driver. This driver can print to all of your printers. It reduces maintenance effort since you need to update only 1 driver. Universal drivers are especially useful in office environments.
I am not sure where the drivers marked "IT professionals only" come from.

I have been involved in developing infotainment solutions for cars:D
Are you talking about what buttons to have on the dashboard? Almost all high-end cars have buttons which allow the user to switch between various sub-systems (Audio/video playback, Navigation, Phone, Settings etc). Along with that, they also have a rotating knob for scrolling and selecting items. See Audi's MMI or BMW's iDrive for inspiration.
Whether we like it or not, smartphone and app integration with cars is quite inevitable in near future. Apart from opening up a plethora of possibilities with apps, it is also about convenience (just a wild thought: sitting in your house, you plan a road trip with your friends using maps on your smartphone and later simply download them to your car's navigation system). One major example of such an integration is Toyota's Entune.
True. That is why the current trend in In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) software is that for the front seat, both touch as well as "button" interfaces are provided (touch interface can be used by the passenger sitting next to the driver while the driver continues to use the buttons). On the other hand, the interface for rear seat passengers is suitable for being completely touch based.
I have been working on the media and navigation software for high-end cars like BMW and Audi for a few years now. Quite often, I feel shit scared even thinking about the possibility of Apple jumping into the In-Vehicle Infotainment segment. If and when it happens, it could be end of the road for established players like the company I work for. There is no way we can hold a candle to Apple's design und innovation.
You are confusing 'auto-complete' with 'instant search results'. 'Auto-complete' provides relevant suggestions in the search text box based on what you have typed so far. 'Instant results' shows the output of the search without you having to press enter after you have finished typing in the search text box.
Among other things, I hope network execs can better guage the pulse of the viewers and don't inexplicably cancel seriously popular shows like "Outnumbered" (though it did ultimately return for the next season).
How about first ensuring clean toilets and a website where you can actually do something hassle-free?
Seriously.
With a handle like "transporter_ii", tracking FedEx packages would be right up your alley !

That is why there is a need for None of The Above to be introduced as an option.
Once that is done, how about stopping manipulating your currency so blatantly?
