What is the Regulatory Recovery Fee?

The Regulatory Recovery Fee is $1.50 per phone number. This is a fee that Vonage charges its customers to recover regulatory-related costs it incurs. These costs may include, but are not limited to, Federal and State Universal Service Funds (USF), 9-1-1 fees, E 9-1-1 fees, CALEA compliance costs and other regulatory-related fees and costs. In addition, the Regulatory Recovery Fee covers similar regulatory costs incurred in foreign countries. Your total Regulatory Recovery Fee reflects a $1.50 surcharge for every phone number you have, including primary voice lines, second lines, fax lines, Toll Free PlusSM numbers, SoftPhones and Virtual Phone NumbersSM.

Here is their project goal. From what i read, build in ur PC & move it to embeded device, gentoo style.

    2. Project Goals
The intention of the project is to make Gentoo viable for embedded systems. This includes creating a system for cross compiling and building the image for an embedded system on a Gentoo workstation. The base install image should be minimal, with different libc options. Building on this base, the system can be customized for the particular system.

The thing i fail to see details on to see how a car break down is handled. Are the other cars intelligent to help a disabled car.. now that would be too much.

  11. Re:Except that... on Mass Transit Meets The Incredibles · · Score: 1

The answer here is, if a station can hold a max of 6 cars at a time, and if there are already 6 cars in place the 7th car won't enter, if its empty. But if it has passengers destined for this station then it has no choice but to wait. But the wait could happen by a slight slow down enroute than a standstill wait. This slow down would ensure there is a slot for this car when it reaches the station.

And yes, we can theorize a lots of situations where these systems fail. After all, these are computer programs which do if's & else's.

What if there was a project whose sole job is to look for this kind of problems. There are projects for documention , drivers, devices, hardware for linux.
Why __not__ for this. This would requred mostly non-technical people and an efficient feedback system to the project maintainers. And the Linus's "enough eyeball's" Law which applies to the Software bugs would work extremly well in this case, since the core project developers can't do this alone. And at the same token, depending on non-technical end-users to look for these & report would be a wait for ever.
    My two cents.

Most indian companies / IT people fall under the first category. Say 10% of them work on stuff for companies like intel which may be usefull tomorrow.

Like previously we developed apps using VB. How do u port it to the internet. Almost imposible. Now u write em in VB.. just publishem ur good to go.. All the app servers are users of the .NET Framework or they understand the Framework. The Windows.NET is a joke. Its nothing but windows 2000 with .NET Framework in it.. so that any windows client will have a common Framework & any app complient to that framework will. look the same & work this same.
