You can almost certainly find more by poking around the MIT OpenCourseWare website. The lectures linked above by Prof. Lewin, however, are particularly good!
And ask Google to create a web hosting service with support for php, cgi, and mysql on a fast connect. They can feel free to force Google Ads on my page for profit.
Give me 100MB of webhosting on google.com/~username/ and support for SQL, PHP, CGI etc. Force the display of Google Ads so you can make some money. And disable the uploading of files bigger than 1mb so you don't just become a huge file server.
Wallhacks and aimbots are actually very easy for hardcore gamers to detect. People who can aim well are not necessarily cheating. It's the people who can aim but not move who are obviously cheating. Moving in quake is an art. If you know how to flick and roll your mouse while jumping you can reach amazing places and speeds.
I think the more interesting online cheating question is where you draw the line between cheating and not cheating. Built into quake there is an FOV command which gives you a fish-eye view allowing you to see more of the world at one time. This is a huge advantage that most players do not know about. Is it cheating? GL_PICMIP 99 will erase all textures from the world allowing for much better visibility. Cheating or smart configuration? Quad timers? Faster computers?
Blatant cheats are easy to detect. Subtle and slight advantages that may or may not be cheating are the real problem.
Suppose a discovery were made that was too powerful for anyone to be trusted with; for example, the ability to see anything, anywhere. Suppose also that anyone with a good understanding of modern physics was capable of rediscovering this phenomenon. If the government was able to supress the initial discovery, what should they do? Should they work towards eliminating physics from college curriculum? Should they eliminate higher education all together? Would they be justified in killing those scientists who currently know enough to discover it on their own?
Exactly one year ago I made the switch from Qwerty to Dvorak. This was not because of an uncontrolled scientific study or evidence that my fingers would move less. I switched because I saw people typing on Internet Relay Chat faster than I thought possible. Some of them were typing so fast that they even punctuated! As a long time piano player and computer user, it was very difficult for me to accept the fact that other people could type circles around me.
Questioning those who could type faster than myself led me to Dvorak and gave me an unfounded sense of confidence. Initially, the going was slow, but before Christmas break was over I could type fast enough that I wouldn't have to write my English papers in Qwerty. Now, I type about 30 wpm faster than I used to (75-105).
I'm not saying Dvorak is better for everyone. I was still young - 16 years old - and admittedly not that fast a Qwerty typer when I switched. However, the Dvorak keyboard layout was a really positive experience for me and I feel I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't share my experience.
I haven't been reading slashdot for that long, so it's likely that my argument has already been stated. I'm sorry for wasting your time if this is the case, but the fact that informed people still use Qwerty leads to the assumption that the advantages of Dvorak haven't been thoroughly explained.
Anyways, if you're even considering the switch to Dvorak, do it now. Today. It's Christmas break and I gauruntee that you can achieve acceptable speeds before the holidays are over. While I can't provide controlled, scientific proof that Dvorak is superior, it has helped me out considerably and trying it is free. The website that got me started is here.
This is the best website on design that I've found: http://webdesignfromscratch.com/
For searches like this, don't use Google or other search engines like it. Search people's bookmarks. http://del.icio.us/search/?fr=del_icio_us&p=design&type=all
But the MIT lecture videos are free.

Near the bottom of your page: But what are the chances of drawing two hearts? 1/4 * 1/4 = 1/8 = 12.5%
... um no

Games worth playing have direct linux ports.
Games with linux ports always get better FPS in linux than in windows in my experience.
My Quake 3 FPS went from 60.0 to ~90 when I upgraded from windows to linux.
This is most likely because WinXP caps your FPS at 60. For no good reason.
