    If I remember correctly the game engine for the marathon series has already been open sourced and ported to Linux, you can grab the sources code (and precompiled binaries for OSX and Windows) from bungi's websites and the game files are a free download from there along with numerous mods.Sso I'm not sure how much more easily available they could be as for the others I don't know.

    Because apple doesn't give a shit about their mother country... Apple however, does give a shit about money, that's why they stole their OS, stole all their designs and have outsourced everything that can be outsourced to companies that gladly will push little kids to the limit and over it (suicide)... Apple doesn't care about you. Apple does only care about your money. And it's willing to do everything for it, including the indirect murder of kids.

    How do you steal code that is under a BSD license (FreeBSD, and Mach mircrokernal)? Or did you mean NextStep which they bought?

    Micronations are a pipe dream for libertarian morons. Your nation is only as strong as your ability to defend it. And that goes for whether it's on an oil rig or
    half of an existing country. If you're going to declare independence, you're going to need an army that's as least as strong as the army of the country you're declaring independence from. Otherwise, you're just a nutball clown (like "Prince Roy" here).

    so the speed of light barrier is where the universe throws a divide by zero error, and things like tachyons are where the universe says fuck it lets do it anyway. maybe this math is for explaining how tachyons can get a way with saying fuck you to the math.

    If Canonical really believes that Unity is the new "hot thing", it would have been trivial to add a choice during install... New (Unity) or Classic (Gnome2), and let the user-base decide, but nooooooooooo, they know whats best for EVERYONE...

    you mean a choice like when you downloaded it to get unbutu(unity) kubuntu(kde) xubuntu(xfce) lubuntu(lxde) and so on? or like after the install when you simply apt-get {de of choice}

    it hides programs i don't use everyday in a sea of apps, rather than giving me a simple hierarchical menu that I can get to it in under 5 seconds, any files i have not previously opened are ignored by the search in the hud, files on external media are ignored by the hud file searchs, there that just the first few i could think of in less than two minutes
