and by far the worst candidate of any major party in modern history, surpassing G W Bush. But in democracy, the rich shouldn't be allowed to buy the election. US democracy is so flawed. Most developed countries at least have some form of cap in spending.
In most jurisdictions, you need special permits and/or plate and/or insurance and/or background check and/or to pay taxes when you offer taxi service, which is exactly what Uber drivers are doing. There is no sharing, except with UberPool, but in all cases there is no sharing with the driver.
Uber "Technologies" is kind of a misnomer. They are more of a overvalued hedge fund than anything else.
Uber is not a tech company. It's a lobbying company. Anybody can clone its app. Its strength is to make politicians change laws to accept Uber, and/or operate illegally without too much problems.
Either your are a nitpicker or don't understand the issue. On a human time frame oil and gas are not renewable. That's why when having a sane discussion, we separate renewable sources (wind/solar/hydro/...) and non-renewable sources (oil, gas, coal, nuclear fission,...). Technically, I agree hydro isn't renewable either if you empty a reservoir that took 20 years to fill in one month. But it is clearly renewable if you keep the reservoir at a more or less constant level every year (after a cycle of all seasons).
It might work. But how do you implement it? You seize/nationalize the current infrastructure from telcos and cablecos? You lay a third cable and compete with them? And why municipal? Why not another government?
How long can you country survive with 100% renewal electricity? I bet less than a week. 100% renewable electricity is a remarkable step. Electric cars will allow to reduce fossil fuels even further from that point.
Well, those people in the states are wrong. Hydro is renewable, like it or not. Renewable doesn't mean no impact on the population and ecosystems. All power sources have an impact.
The monitor (should) last much longer than the PC. There is a reason for having the two separated. Especially if we are talking about mid-range to high end monitors. They are an investment that should last for at least 2-3 PCs. All-in-ones have the downsides of both desktops and laptops. If you don't need the power and expandability, get a laptop. And get an external monitor if you want a large one.
I also wish we'd wait for an agreed standard. Lightning is essentially a Apple-only standard. Lightning headsets will only ever work with Apple devices, we need a good common digital standard.
We have standard bluetooth, standard USB-C, standard S/PDIF (both coax and optical). Did we really need a new, Apple-only, "standard"?
It's wrong because it's proprietary, and can only be used on iPhones (not even on Macs). At least they could have switched to USB-C instead of lightning. It's wrong because you have to carry a useless, easy to loose, shitty adapter every time you want to connect regular headphones. One port instead of 2 is less choice, not more. You could already use wireless headphones (and maybe even lightning) on old iPhones. Now you loose the 3.5mm jack. It's a loss.
So? It has been there since almost forever. 90%+ of all Android devices ever sold probably has it. VoIP on a data-only smartphone is not only possible, it is convenient.
I doubt iOS10 will change much. Just like Android 2.3 integration of SIP didn't revolutionize the market (although it's a nice feature and I use it, it's already possible to go data-only).
Apple still rely on phone numbers (so carriers) even for protocols such as iMessage, which could work just fine with an email address as an identifier.
Hillary is a typical establishment candidate. But she is not stupid and dangerous like Trump. Newsflash: Mexico isn't paying for your wall.

Straight men would have similar rates if women were as promiscuous as men.
If you don't count straight men who use the condom as birth control but which has the bonus "side-effect" to prevent many STDs.
Wake me up when you shut down that plant and ran for more than a week on renewable electricity only.
Also this is from 2012 but it lists New Zealand as only 72% renewable: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

Obviously the best rivers have been used first. What is left is not as interesting. It's still renewable, though.
We couldn't care less about your personal tastes. We will end up making you pay for your pollution, like it or not.
And also fuck you.

mostly hydro, but thermal is also important (11%):

And what is your magical solution?
Canada is not a model.
Cable boxes are expensive here too. Especially DVRs. And they only work with one provider.

also you can't charge while the headphones are plugged in.

Such as which driver exactly?

Right, I've had enough. Why do I need a waterproof phone?
Some people leave their basement. Canoe, sailing, swimming, there is a world outside.
Taking underwater pictures is a nice feature.
not if you use the same bit rate.
a regular PC is already modular. Hard drive, power supply, motherboards (ATX), optical drives all have standard sizes and can be easily replaced.
