    2. Everybody go to that continent and order the samen meals and flood the database.

    Why? Isn't it just insane that the you have to be tracked in every step you take? Hell. I'm innocent and I don't want to be treated as a possible threat to society.

    Mind you. Here in Europe things arn't that much better. You don't have to carry an ID, but if the police asks you for it, you have to show it. (ok. only if they suspect you did something illegal).

    It's SO ironic. Last major terrorist action (spain, some years ago) eveny government is doing exactly that what the terrorists want them to do.
    Issue all kinds of weird laws that take away our freedom, wiretap everybody, evedrop on your email and so on and so on.

    The whole idea isn't that crazy. Afaik it's a well known fact that people in larger cars and cars with airbags feel safer and therefore drive less safe than people in smaller cars and cars without airbags.

    I like the idea. now let's see if it's working :)

    US COMPANIES are allowed to lobby, but asking the ambassy (that's what I was told) to lobby, a political representation, is just really strange.
    Have a lobby group do the lobby work for MS, have the government do the political negotiations for all the companies.

    A government CAN be involved, but NOT on behalf of ONE company in particular.

    That's a new one. The US (government) doesn't have to agree with the EU laws. And the EU doesn't have to agree with the US laws (examples: gay marriage, environment, torture, death penalty).
    If there is a serious disagreement official talks are the usually way to sort this out. Until there the law is changed, the law is the law. For you, for me and also for MicroSoft.

    true. everybody can comment, but in my opinion if the eu laws are unfair, there should be political talks about that laws in general instead of a lobby about this one case in particular.

    No, not the government, but something truely independent.
