Yes burn-in was a concern but I won't let it be sitting on CNN for hours at a time. The real kicker came down to the thing costing only $100 more than a 30" LCD. I went with the 42" Plasma and am so far glad I did.
My new 42" Plasma TV has by far the brightest and clearest picture of any TV I have ever owne. The full screen HD picture from network TV shows and sports is incredible. Besides these factors the way it looks in my living room is phenomenal. I think before any one complains about these TV's being hype they should come over to my house and watch for a few minuties.
"One of the first British firms to be targeted, CanBet Ltd., had turned to the Hi-Tech Crime Unit in the fall and agreed to send traceable money to a list of names in Latvia provided by the extortionists. The unit sent a team to watch the pickup spots, along with local police, and the crew was alarmed to see the Latvians pick up cash sent by other businesses around the world."
I havn't been able to sync my Palm yet either. I'm running a dual boot system but lately I'll just stay in windows running firefox, it's not from a lack of trying either.
We daily use our diskmix automation for our Neotek recording console circa 1986 or so. The computer we are running the software on is I think a 386. Newer computers are to quick for the software.

There havn't been any massive celebrations here in Toronto once we were taken off the list as far as I can tell. The planned Rolling Stones concert is to help get the tourists coming back again. Sure we are relieved to be off the list but massive celebrations, I don't think so.
I recieved my rebate for Age of Empiers II and Flight Simulator 2002 in the time they specified. I felt good too depositing the cheque from microsoft. I have also got rebates on some compact flash memory from Compusmart here in Canada and a $50 rebate on my Legend GPS from Garmin. Rebates have tipped the balance toward buying products for me several times.
Thank you for the heads up on Neal's Star Wars essay. A great little read for first thing in the morning!
When you send in your xbox you get back a different one with a different serial number.
It would be interesting to watch an animation of where the Buzz is over a period of time.
I suppose that there will be some lawsuits if an applicant was rejected due to an imposter, if no lawsuits then quite possibly no imposters...
My Google Search returned this:
Web definitions for GmbH
A German limited liability company.
How much do you like getting one of those email greeting cards? It's a really big thrill isn't it?
Are you making a point if so I'm not sure what it is. I've heard Los Angeles has the highest number of Canadians when it comes to America. So what.
Do you think you might be able to spare one for me?
I'd be willing to take your wager. You have to remember that this is not the only charity that Mr. Gates' foundation donates money to.

Yeah well I won't be too sympathetic when you lose yours.
I might be tempted to put it in a box with a 25 watt light bulb. I think this would be sufficient to keep the ambient temperature above freezing.
The latest figures I saw indicate that most households in Canada now have broadband connections.

My point was that it wasn't just Russians.
Unfortunately Lativa is not in Russia.

I guess the point of the site is to meet friends. As opposed to meeting strangers. I don't have any friends there so I'll be meeting no one.
