Here in Sweden we have airbag deployable helmets, you wear them like a collar over your shoulders, and should you fall off the airbag will deploy. The only issue then is that once used in an accident, you will need to buy a new one, but they are less cumbersome than a helmet, and so often preferred by city cyclists.
Well singles day in China had about 3 to 4 times the estimated sales that Black Friday / Cyber Monday had last year, and that trend looks set to continue this year. Being able to sell competitively to the largest market in the world may in fact be a good thing for the US economy.
Well not entirely, about 200 years ago many doctors would prescribe tincture of mercury for very many ailments, and so medicine also has a history of giving bad advice leading to shortened lifespans.
This reminds me of something I read a few months back Repair Cafe's, where volunteers run a cafe not for profit, and you bring your broken kit there, and get it repaired. Personally I'm sick and tired of these manufacturers that like nothing better than to glue in their components, and to make them as unrepairable as possible. Manufacturers really need to start thinking about environmental sustainability and responsibility in their designs, and I welcome anyone who like the person in the article, set out to start their own repair shops.
Yeah I know I use a 2 year old Android phone with dual sim. The Chinese version will be the one to get then by the sounds of it. The others will be locked, you want to change your sim, you will need to use an app that registers it with Cupertino. Sure vendors will have this option, but the days where you can go with any vendor you choose, well that will depend on how friendly they are with Apple HQ.
So you think Apple are gonna let any old piece of software update their sim, any vendor anywhere? Or will they centralize it and control it (like they always do)?

What google is doing likely violates GDPR in several ways, so if they really want to get Google, then that is the way to go, as the European authorities currently regard Google as their personal piggy bank, That they are suing them allegedly kinda indicates the motive is more profit (by the legal team).
I also suffer from this, and can get it in Minecraft, most FPS games, Elite Dangerous when driving a buggy around. I get extreme nausea, cramps, dizziness, and can feel ill for maybe 2 hours. This has meant that I ignore most games that have a first person viewpoint. There are things that can reduce it - such as increasing the field of view shown in the game to wider angles, but this only slightly helps for me.
The Lenovo Book already does this - Its basically 2 touchscreens one in the position of the keyboard, and you have a non tactile touchscreen to type on (and in my opinion it sucks).
I suspect the problem is with Sony internal politics, SEMC do not work so closely with the playstation division, each division must make profits and so the customer ends up paying for this (or in this case just going to their competitors).
So where do "you" get the gas you put in your tank from? The main source is the global oil/petrochemicals: BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Dow, BASF, Aramco, Sinopec, Gazprom etc.
I have twenty five years experience of working on SAP - and I can say only one of the implementations I worked on was as you described, and it was solely as a result of catastrophically bad management. If it was as bad as you say I find it hard to believe that SAP would maintain the kind of customer base that it has today.

I'm sorry but Azure is not just PaaS, they also offer Iaas and AWS also offer PaaS.
its the new macbook laptop that doesn't require any dongles, thats the blow away product.
Nvidia's problem wasn't the tie in with Battlefield, more so the pricing, if you decide to add 30% to the price, expect sales to not be quite so hot.

China is smart and they have put their quantum stealth radar into a black box, as a result they are not sure if it exists or not.
Which is kind of strange given that Imperial college pretty much invented holography (Dennis Gabor's work there).
The insects are clearly in cahoots with the scientific community and are hiding out of site in a bid to trick the politicians into action.
If Samsung could just go with the base android experience, and tone down their colour schem (a lot) then I might be tempted.

Apple are always on the lookout for ways to lock in their customers, and here's a new one.

I have the oneplus 5T - and its very good value. Fast, good screen, good battery life, dual sim, metal back.

and lets not forget the historical back taxes that these companies owe.

I plan to send all of my atoms into the sun already - just mine won't be getting there for another 7.5 billion years or so.
I would say that tracking of non-users violates GDPR in several ways, hope Facebook has 4% of revenue at the ready to donate to the EU.
