    Executive Orders are not law since they are not derived from legislation nor has an Executive Order ever been challenged in the USSC since the only organization which can challenge an Executive Order is the Congress. And there are no secret Executive Orders since they have to be published or they are not an order.

    When it's a tax! Frankly, after reading this ruling I'm still shaking my head. Roberts shot down every argument made by the Federal government in support of the ACA, then in order to sustain the act, made some convoluted argument that what was clearly labeled as a penalty was in fact a tax. This ruling has to be the most f**cked up ruling I've ever read.

    They go to a judge and get a warrant. The warrant is then presented to the carrier. Pre-cell phone days, the Federal building in every major city was located right across the street from the LEC central office just for this reason.

    Since a request such as this would violate your 4th Amendment rights, it is fully within the purview of the Congress to legislate against such an intrusion. All corporations are within scope as they are creations of legislatures.
