I have, and it's pretty much on par with IE 6 beta 2. They both average around 4 MB or so on my box. I've have them both get up in the 70 - 80 MB range though. I've had IE 6 b2 take up 82 MB in 5 processes. Of course IE 6 and NS 6.1 are technically both beta technology so take that for what it's worth.
True, but not everyone who has been threatened is a pirate. These letters are going out to a run of the mill mailing lists with no real qualification as to whether any potential piracy is going on or not. So yes, there are many compliant customers being threatened with audits.
Pardon me if I'm wronb but I get the funny feeling that you did not read the report. There is nothing in it to suggest that the Gov't or the MPAA / RIAA is ploying to shut these services down (I know that your post is in reponse to another but you didn't point this out). If anything, it seems like a call to action for the makers of "surf safe" software to update their software to block access to these applications.
Of course, litigation is inevitable, but I applaude the writers of this document for just putting forth the facts with no apparent attempt to shade or skew things. Now how the RIAA / MPAA could choose to use this report might turn that notion totally on its ear.
I remember when the ONLY real anime movie to be had over here was Akira (there was Voltron and the like but they don't count). As far as I'm concerned it is already mainstream. I used to live in an area that had a high population of people who came from Japan. They used to bring their Japanese comic books to school and we would trade them for Trapper Keepers and such. I'll never forget this Japanese kid saying: "You got big notebook? I trade you for big Japanese comic book!" We were reading (well, looking at) Dragon Ball (Dr. Slump, Doramongo(sp?)) comics in '86.
Now amine is every where, I can go to a store and buy the same stuff that I could only barter for in the past. The anime section at the Best Buy stores here in Atlanta are larger than the music video section. And you say that Anime is not popular and mainstream?
I personally think that it is about as popular is it is going to get considering the big rifts in U.S. and Japanese culture that it illustrates.
Nope... that ending came straight from Kubrick. The only big difference was that "mommy" was an alcoholic in Kubrick's version, and David makes her an abnormally red Bloody Mary at the end.
Arrrgh... I hate seeing this asinine point. What the Dittoheads that always quote this drivel don't tell you is that if Gore had won Florida, these contrived numbers would have barely changed and Gore would have won the election.
Yeah too bad that Parishi does things just as bad as many of the corporations that he criticizes. He has butchered that board to hell with censorship. First you couldn't post URLS. Then you couldn't say words like HTML and Javascript in a post. Not you can't even put a real number in your post! I hate it for people who want to share IP addresses.

I don't know about a monopoly investigation. I do know that they were being investigated for price fixing / collusion. They settled the case for something to the tune of 400 million dollars. The investigation centered around the RIAA cutting off subsidies to record stores if they charged a price that was below what they (the RIAA) set.
Apparently in the early 90's a lot of smaller records stores were being severely undercut by the larger chains. This move was designed to push the prices back up so that the little guys could compete.
There is more but I think that this is pretty much the gist of it.
What's related is in my copy, and it looks much better than the NS6 version. Maybe you need to add it to the sidebar. Or maybe you need to check the sidebar. WR is in the sidebar now.
Actually, NAACP stands for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Also, the act that sparked the defiance was the mandating of integration. Thinking like this is why the NAACP was formed and is still around.
If the N in NAACP stood for "Nigger" then you might have a point. Also, I live in Ga. the former State flag was adopted in defiance of the feds (just like seceeding the union was). All of these people around here want to talk about history, exactly how long was the Confederacy around?
BTW I do agree that Huck Finn should be read in its original form. I just don't agree that it was ever as innocent or a term as you want us to think.
Use the stub installer and choose a custom install. You can deselect everything but the raw browser if you'd like.

The delete key and unchecking a few checkboxes in preferences can kill ALL of the AOL icons and links in NS 6.
OpenLinux 3.1 actually ships with everything OFF. The only net services that are enabled after installation are SSH and Webmin with SSL-Only access.

He Got Game Last Mass of the Cabelleros(sp?) What you Need is Jesus I I also thought that Give it Up was cool
Uhhhhhh... wouldn't these be considered toys?

Then download some more search engines and knock yourself out. This is probably one of the single coolest Mozilla features.
Actually if you go into preferences and change your default search engine, it will put your search engine of choice there.

Amen to that brother. ATL resident right here. 285 is a big reason that I ditched my car and moved intown.

LMAO
You really need to grab a recent build. Mozilla is a totally different animal that it was during the period that you're referring to.

Yeah well the NT (2K) task manager has topped out at 96 MB for me. Does it suffer from the same inaccuracy?

Well the Bible says that we came from dirt.
