How does one qualify what constitutes as a good lawyer? Because i'm willing to bet that some of the ones on the EFF who fight everyday for our rights with less pay than these RIAA paid lowlifes are much better and much more qualified to actually be in the JUSTICE department.
Lets get something straight here. Everyone has quirks. You aren't special because you conform less than others. The problem at hand is people being asses. That doesn't stop and end at developers. I would say it's a bigger problem in management and upper management as they can and do get away with anything they want.
Developers get a bad rap because a lot of them know their personal skills suck. Why do you think they're in front of their monitors all day long instead of talking to people? They also know that they're gifted more than the average person, and that's why they're at a computer instead of doing some other type of work.
Politicians have called for a ban on cars since they are used for bank robberies. They have also called for a ban on cellphones since terrorists have been using cellphones for communications. More at 11.
This is a futuristic space game. Maybe they thought that POS mechanics included a reactor that ran on a perpetual engine that created matter. How were they supposed to know. I mean it apparently was in the game for 4 years!. Only the biggest corps used this to create tons of cash, probably in and out of game with their time card trading scam.
It's probably more efficient and economically viable to eliminate the bank of batteries and feed it back into the grid with a utility hookup. This won't help when the power goes out, but you'll utilize all the energy collected one way or the other without having the need for batteries which need to be maintained/replaced.
And if you have an electric car which needs to be charged, charge it during non peak hours.
Badly insulated houses leak energy like no other. Re-insulate, make sure there's no spaces throwing off wanted heating or cooling. That's probably your best initial investment in any house, especially if it's old. Old insulation (blown in or otherwise) usually lasts only 50 years.
It failed cuz it sucked ass. There was economy, the storyline was thrown together haphazardly (collect x,y,z runes, for no reason!). Customization was a joke, quests were boring.
Even the whole part of it being like a fps was a joke. Aiming doesn't matter for crap in that game, it was just select a target and smash fire in fps mode, or just turn on autoattack like in every other mmo. You could be facing the complete opposite direction and hit your target as well.
It was one of the most unpolished turds ever. I think conan sucked right after the starting zone, but TR just sucked overall.
It's a lot smarter and safer to colonize and try to expand our knowledge and resources as far as we can, so if something happens to our single planet like a meteor strike, humanity will live on and be able to rebuild without being thrown into the stone age.
I'm sure you would prefer if the internet resided on one computer alone, right?
better yet, instead of jamming, put up a cell tower in the prison, allow only authorized esn numbers unmonitored access and monitor the rest. That way guards get privacy and everyone else gets monitored for illegal activity and identification.
I personally think the effects are way overblown. A cellphone is for communication. There's payphones, writing letters, visits in which anything can be conveyed to another person. A cellphone doesn't change any of that.

sort of cold fusion

not like the free energy cold fusion, but definitely not high energy either.
Kelly LeBrock.
You have more problems with birds flying at 100 feet off the ground than you do with a balloon flying at 100,000 feet.
Your answer: Val Kilmer sucks. Your wager: George Clooney sucks.
Because developers are a dime a dozen!

Why do you have to search her for her phone? Just suspend her and get her out of the room.
woah, when did lying become a crime? Was she under oath?
Pssst, take the Q12 down to the 7 train, take the bus to 54th, talk to Tina, tell her i sent ya.
What am i guilty of? If i give you directions to a bank, and you plan on robbing it, how am i responsible for your actions?
Personal responsibility. Learn it.
Or better yet, the military can invest in it so that soldiers can finally hold onto their rifles and their "guns" at the same time.

so let me get this straight. Comcast customers got to see porn and they're getting paid?
Where do i sign up for that service?
I heard greek women are hairy if yer into that sorta thing.
It would of been better if they didn't get "permission" to contact them, and instead pretended to be a pizza delivery guy and ask for directions.
Now that would of been awesome.
pata-pata-pata-pon!
How about this general rule, portable systems are usually rife with crap games, consoles only slightly better.

One Word: Insulation.

uuencode - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uuencode
you'll have to ask for something and get it converted into several messages of text, save it and uudecode it back to it's binary format.
30k a year for an IT job? I'll pass.
Probably less than that. They would create a IT czar, give him all the money, then hire indians to do the IT work at 2$ an hour pay rate.

Yeah, lets just keep all of our eggs in one earth sized basket, where resources are limited and ecology is failing due to overpopulation. Awesome!
Stating an opinion is not defamatory.
I think bush is the worst president we've ever had.
Should i be expected to be sued by bush for defaming his name?
