    The states suing them don't really care about whether they lied or concealed health risks, they just want to push their liberal anti-tobacco agenda. Did it ever occur to you that the lying and health risks were the cause of the "liberal anti-tobacco agenda"? People have agendas for a reason. The tobacco companies willfully deceived the public about the health risks of their product. If a gun manufacturer made a gun that blew up and killed it's users you would expect them to be responsible wouldn't you?

    Keeping in mind that wireless, although neat, will probably be a bit difficult because the expense of mobile wireless cards could be out of range of a lot of the people interested

    So these people dropped $1000 or more on a laptop but can't afford a $50 WiFi card?

    Is this a joke?

    I'm amazed at how much KDE tries to ape Windows rather than trying to adddress the problems of the Windows interface.

    OK, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is legitimate. What problems specifically?

    Which kinds of tea have more caffeine?

    I like tea, but I always wind up drinking a gallon of it to get the same kick I get from a cup of coffee.

    I'd be interested in getting me some of that there Hi-test tea.

    How exactly would that work? I don't think the washing machine in my apartment building dials in when I wash my clothes.

    I don't really know dick about smart cards, but common sense would tell you that any card system for laundry would keep track of the monetary value on the card itself.

    I'd be interested to know how the system works if it doesn't.

    The root hasn't been in Herndon for awhile now. NSI moved their headquarters to Sterling shortly after the VeriSign buyout. The only part of VRSN/NSI that's still in Herndon is the call center.

    That's beside the point.

    The ultimate goal of conservation isn't some hokey "maintain nature's balance" strawman.

    If we change the habitat to the point that human life becomes unsustainable or QOL drastically decreases, it will be cold comfort that it was all "part of nature's cycle."
