    It's pretty clear that he has no idea what he's talking about....or his reading comprehension was impeded by all the flames.

    I think you will find that it may take a variety of devices to spark interest. The trick is to suggest something in a way that makes them think they thought of it.

    Total crap.

    The Amiga was an excellent machine that had plenty of hardware improvements over its lifetime. Their big failure was not finding a niche other than low-end video editing and games. The Amiga ran circles around both Macs and PCs, they just sucked as a business.

    The ST was litigated out of existence.

    Other than those two points you are totally correct.

    The biggest known risk is to ground water. The proposed fracking areas also coincide with largely rural areas that use wells for their water supply. If you poison the water table, it can affect any connected aquifer.

    The film manufacturers are stopping production on many varieties of film because it just doesn't sell. Turns out all those sweaty, wild-eyed, frothy-mouthed, if-I-cant-take-it-in-camera-I-dont-want-it film buffs are shooting brackets and tone mapping the hell out of their photoshop'd pics. What's a Luddite that riots AND embraces the steam looms?

I you pay me to complete a project, not an hourly rate, then you have no business telling me how to do my job hour to hour. You are paying for the product, not the process. If I spend 3 hrs doing something and bill you for the completed work and the rate is competitive, what do you care? Do you really think it takes 3-6 weeks to make a passport? It takes about 3 minutes to evaluate the documents and hit "Print". You are paying for the passport not every micro-managed second in between.
