    As a child who played both Myst, Riven, Doom 1 and numerous Janes Combat Simulation games. They all had their time and place. Once you beat doom a couple times and blowing the same buildings up got boring, Myst provided something more challenging. I don't know how old you were when you bought the game but I was at the age where puzzle games still had value. And for everyone who played Myst and not Riven. Check it out.

    I would like to know as well what specific bug you are talking about. I think it would be relevant to the discussion. Another note, wouldn't making it a default allow more bugs to be discovered? Thus helping it along.

    Does this sound like fun research to you? If so, pass that enthusiasm along to the next generation. Come on, send a mass text or email. Tell somebody about it. Showing people that science can be a fun thing is what we need right now. Of course, most slashdotters already know this, but maybe Dice will take note.

    I, for one, would be fine with laying my life on the line to explore Europa. Its has been my dream since I was like 8. It always seemed to be the coolest of the planets/moons in the solar system. Except for the whole, cannot escape the water thing. However, do they want monkeys, or skilled individuals? This would make a big difference. Guess I will have to RTFA....good one, I know.

    think about it. we are lookin for radio waves(flame on)/ digital signals from the greater beyond, when something else could be the form of which we are look for currently. what if we had the money to look for other types of signals that can be sent out over longer distances of space. forgive me im pretty hammered off some local black diamond rampage.
